Going off of #10, Cesar is probably my favorite character in the entire GTA series. Respectful, great friend, and always reliable. The ONLY downside to him is the constant calls for the coke courier missions lol

God I remember having the biggest grin on my face as a kid when CJ says "Seeya around...officer." This game will always be a classic.

Technically CJ didn’t kill Tenpenny. He just chased him until Tenpenny lost control. Also Tenpenny loses control regardless of wether you try to damage the fire truck or not

I think we can all agree that CJ, while inconsistent, is still one of the most noble protagonists with a great sense of morality and got the most character development of everyone in the entire game.

I don't mind the reupload. Anyway, it says a lot when CJ tries to tell Pulaski that he's being used and even asks Smoke why he betrayed GSF while other protagonists would just finish them there and then. Unfortunately, Pulaski throws it all back in CJ's face like the vile rabid dog he is and Smoke never cared for CJ and only for reputation and opportunity.

He knew that Salvatore could screw him over. And he struck first. Tempenny ALWAYS disregarded CJ and looked down on him, while Pulaski quickly understood the real threat CJ posed to them. His drive to kill him was the most reasonable step. Even his offenses in the chase also makes sense. This is a psychological undertaking aimed to distract CJ and hindering his pursuit (and making Pulaski easier to escape).

In the scene where Cesar tells CJ that Ryder had tried to bang his sister, he was just lying to make CJ feel better and to not feel guilty for killing Ryder. In fact, Ryder was originally planned to never betray CJ and he would never do bad things behind his back, but after the voice actor left Rockstar before the game was finished, the creators had to make him a villain.

Great video, Pro! I think San Andreas doesn't get the respect it deserves for some really good writing and character depth regarding CJ. While not quite the same level as Niko, CJ was definitely a great protagonist that was grounded and likable, while also being enjoyable and believable, given the universe the game is set in.

we all agree that CJ is the strongest willed protagonist even if his life was arguably a normal one he did jobs that even heartless criminals like Claude wouldn't even do though people would argue that Niko is the best protagonist he didn't do half of the stunts cj did Franklin is somewhat closer but had to rely on Michael and Trevor and Toni is a made man a caporegime but he doesn't have his own will he is but a slave for Salvatore and his Ma Victor was forced into this life by his superior officer Martinez and had to do errands for Phil Umberto and even Diaz Tommy chose this life he could be like his father but he chose to join the forrelis CJ wanted and can to avoid this life but he learned to stick with the family

Great to see this video back up again. Also, the scene where Cesar claimed Ryder tried to bang Kendl was just a random comment that came out of nowhere. Because first off, there were no signs or any hints at all of Ryder ever showing any interest in trying to seduce Kendl in any way. And secondly, Kendl is known to speak her mind out loud and was actually opened to tell her brother and boyfriend that some construction workers were insulting her appearance. So if she would openly tell her brother that she was insulted by some construction workers, then there's no reason at all for her to keep silent to her brothers about their childhood friend trying to bang her. It's one of the bad cases of breaking the "Show, don't tell" rule.

The home stretch of missions in LS to finish out the game, is the best of any in the series. The atmosphere, with the riots going on, it really makes you feel like you're involved in some history defining moment.
