Why does everyone forget about squid beats in Splatoon 2 ;-;

I know you didn’t include Fire Emblem because you never played it, but that game takes well over 1,000 hours to 100%. You need to play the game over and over again to get all of the character interactions, master each class on each character (some classes you can only use on one character per playthrough), have each character die to get their death ending (they need to die twice, once in the first part of the game and the second part), and finally get every ending for every character paired with every other character on each of the 4 different routes. This means playing through the story dozens of times and it is not a short game lol

I don’t know where fire emblem would be because you have the play the game 4 TIMES to get every ending. But each path holds a beautiful story so I’m not complaining.

So this clearly isn’t “hardest switch games to 100%” it’s “hardest switch game I’ve played” to 100%

Correction: Splatoon 2 has a golden flag, meaning that to have to win 50 matches without losing. (I’m aware that you don’t lose all of your winstreak, so you’ll likely have to win 80-100 matches with your weapon, also, you get a red stamp for 100k points, good luck with that one)

I love your content, thank's for the effort. Only two things: 1- In Pokemon you can complete de currydex, get all the costumes and get all de TM. I think that this is the "true" 100%. 2- In BotW you forgot to 100% the map. I spent a lot of time doing this cause, I miss one location (even doing all korok seeds)

My first thoughts immediately went to Kirby Star Allies, so many things to do, mainly the ultimate choice where you would have to beat Soul Melter EX with every freaking ability/character.

Some other people pointed this out, but I’m going to make a list for Fire Emblem Three Houses (there is not a definitive list so I’m just putting what I think should go on it) -Beat each of the 4 routes on maddening/no new game + -Master every skill and class for every character (there are some classes that only one character can be per play through, meaning you’ll need to beat the game many times to complete this one) -Get every support conversation -Max every weapon, movement, and authority rank for every character -Get every paired and single ending for every character -Get every death ending for every character (you could probably skip this one, but if you decide to do it, I think there are multiple death endings depending if you die in part 1 or 2) -S support every character you can with Male/Female Byleth (you can only do 1 per play through, gotta beat this super long game once for EVERY CHARACTER) -Open every chest and get every stage reward (save green units) -You could also try to craft every food item and weapon if you wanted to This game would be crazy because of the sheer number of times you would need to beat it, and it isn’t short either, probably 30-60 hours per play through (although you could start going faster as you played it over and over I guess) EDIT: Grammar

Most exclusive switch games are actually not too difficult to complete. However the ds and 3ds had some hard ones especially Kirby since I find star allies to be one of the easiest.

Fire Emblem Three Houses is pretty time consuming, you have to play through the entire game 40 times each time taking at least 30 hours

Good video man. I think Celeste should be on this list Ik it’s not a Nintendo game but it’s a switch game and it is very hard to 100 percent. The completionist has a video about 100 percenting it and it’s brutal.

I just 100%’d ultimate yesterday had the game since launch and played it a lot, took a couple year break and came back to it to clear up the 700 remaining spirits and adventure mode and classic modes i needed to beat, getting 700 spirits took me 20 hours straight, classic mode was boring to do with everyone+ dlc but i did it easily, the challenges i did early on owning the game and 100%ing adventure was easy cause i never missed a spirit not very hard especially for smash bros completition standards (melee and smash 4 are impossible) but definitely grindy, i have 200 hours on it now

Yoshi crafted world is amazing. Yes it's easier but its also a collectathon platformer and think it'll be a gem for people who give it a chance.

Yoshi’s Crafted World was super fun to 100% complete. It’s really not that tedious since it’s an easy game. The hidden objects are one of my favorite part, each time I went back into a level I discovered new cool details in the foreground and background.

When college gave me little to no work and I had all gamer friends as roommates, I 100%'d BotW in like 3 weeks lmao. And all I need in Master Mode is to do all the Trials of the Sword which I still have not done, so nearly 200%. And Hyrule Warriors, oml. That was months of grinding and using guides, and the only things I didn't do was Ganon's challenges, maxing character levels (I think only Link was max level by the end) and skill trees and the medals. I think I've gotten my satisfaction and money's worth at this point lol. I got Yoshi's Crafted World recently and had fun albeit monotonous having to redo levels over and over. My main issues were the challenges for both the final boss and secret final boss, but video guides helped me finish those in 1-2 sessions. Mario Odyssey was just so much fun that I didn't mind 100%'ing the game a second time. I only did the bare minimum of completing all the main/dlc story stuff except for the Agent 3 fight. That fight honestly broke me after 2-3 hours of attempts. And I never really got much enjoyment out of the multiplayer because I'm very competitive and being forced into only playing Turf War (being unable to always be on a team with my friends before getting at least a B- Rank) with a team that doesn't know what to do and/or be against a group of players that have put tons of hours into game that will just destroy my team. It just deflates any drive I have to play the game's matchmaking. Star Allies was fun but again monotonous as I did all the Guest Star character campaigns. Fairly easy collecting everything and just an easy game overall until the Arena and all that. And the Arena was really fun, especially playing on the true hardest difficulty. I have never played Mario Maker or DK Tropical Freeze, so I have no opinion on them lol. I gave up on trying to complete Sword because I just had little drive after the base game was done. I did some IV/EV training with some of my main team and that's it. Smash Ultimate is literally just bonus spirits from updates that I forget to collect every now and then. Other than that, I've done everything lol.

Odyssey only needs the unique 880 moons to 100% moon wise. Of course in order to get the star on your profile you also need to have every capture, every souvenir, every outfit, every song, and do the bowser rematch.

Thanks for catering to us Three Houses fans by popping in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate remix of the main theme, despite not playing the game. : ) If Three Houses were to have a spot on your list as the 11th game, I'd say it would probably be slightly above Breath of the Wild, not necessarily because it's hard, but because it's tedious. Just to name a few things you have to do... -Level up every character to max level, plus earn all of their certifications, support levels, Goddess Tower conversations, monastery discussions, lost items, teatimes, side quests, paralogues, etc. -Beat the game on three different difficulties, then do another playthrough on Maddening Mode (the hardest difficulty) without using New Game+ to earn a new title screen. Also, I'm sure there are folks out there that would want a separate playthrough on Classic Mode over Casual Mode. -Earn every song in the soundtrack (harder than it sounds) -Gain every rare item. All of this considered, especially gaining every support, Goddess Tower and proposal speech, you're looking at quite a lot of playthroughs of the same game!

Animal Crossing New Horizons might be on the list if you... -Collect all furniture and get all the different custom colors as well as clothing -Get all portraits -All house upgrades -All DIY recipes -Get all Flowers -Get all K.K. songs -Complete all Nook Miles achievements -Completed museum I just noticed 100% ACNH is HELL (under these conditions)

I mean, it's not a Switch exclusive, but Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled definitely comes to mind on this topic

The annoying thing with spirits in smash is that some of them are only for a limited time. I have all of them except for the 4 river city spirits just because I was out that entire weekend and never had a chance to get them. Lost forever

I got 100% on super mario odyssey with a total game time of only about 40 hours. Aside from a few moons, it was really easy. There was the grinding for coins at the end but there was a minigame in bowser's kingdom that made that extremely easy.

You actually have to do everything you said about BOTW twice with hard mode (they 2 separate save) Also without hacking or illegally getting chips, you’ll have to spend a lot to get those amiibo exclusive items, especially if they’re out of stock and you have to get them on the internet at absurd prices. You could also hope to have a friend with some of those amiibo

I think mario + rabbids should be in this list. THESE SECRET CHALLENGES ARE SO DAMN HARD

For splatoon you forgot about the rhyme game that has hard/easy and simple/complex mode (I think) for each song

The real reason why I completed every stage with every weapon in splatoon2 because I wanted to unlock those weapons. It took me a couple of days to complete all of them!

Not sure whether it is mandatory or not, but when I started World of Light NG+ I thought for some reason that I had to overwrite my existing save, which I had obtained 100% on. Looking back I don't think I had to, and now at some point even though I know that I've already got 100% in it before, I will have to redo it all again just so that I can see the 100% text on my save file. For games like Smash Ultimate and Pokemon you have to set realistic 100% completion goals. Imagine saying that you need every character in Elite Smash for 100%, or completing a living shiny dex in Pokemon?

I'm not even sure if it's physically possible to 100% SMM2. You have to dedicate your full time just to get ONE of these badges, with each badge being based on a completely different category, like for example one would be for having the most played level, one would be for having the most hearted level, one would be for completing the most levels, one would be for getting the most first clears on a level, one would be for being high rank on multiplayer versus, one would be for playing the most endless easy, normal and hard levels, that have a separate badge for each difficulty. I've never seen a youtube video nor anyone on the top 100 creators list of someone having more than half of the badges. And don't even get me started on multiplayer versus rank because a whole year after SMM2's initial release there was only like 20 people in the whole world who were on the highest rank. So it kinda baffles me how SMM2 got second last place on a top ten list when literally no one on the planet has 100% on it

Splatoon 2 is EASY. Story mode, expansion, collect every weapon and try it - i already did this all and i have been playing for only 5 months with 80% being online play

Im surprised there isnt any animal crossing in here You can sort of complete it filling the entire museum, collect all furniture, hats, clothing. Even going as far to get only s tier villagers walking around and to just have a nice looking place

In my opinion, Yo Kai Watch 1, 2 and 3 on the 3DS are some of the hardest video games to 100%, without a doubt, it has an OVERLOAD of content

How about warfame? It takes thousands of hours to 100%. Especially if you are free to play.

i 100% percent yoshi"s crafted world and thought that you have to get all the costumes and spent 260$ buying the amiibo to get the special costumes but its a really fun game

I don’t really see how Mario Odyssey is on here, yes there is a lot of moons, but a lot of them are very easy. My friend got all the moons in less than 2 weeks

In Super Smash Bros Ultimate i have (i think) 1200 spirits (almost all of them) and did classic mode with all caracters and have story mode also 100% done

I think smash is quite easy to 100% & new game + is litherally just new game, but you keep everything from your previous save file, so if you want to lets say use palutena from the start instead of unlocking her later on, wanna start of with a complete skill tree, you can, i think you always keep your spirits anyway

Getting all the blades in xenoblade 2 + maxing them out took me way to long and that’s not even my 100%.

On Pokémon, if you’re really going for the full blown 100%, wouldn’t that also involve getting every variation of all of them in the Dex? This would include shinies, the Alcremie forms, and gender differences just to name a few. I feel like that would make it waaay more difficult

I got 100% on my kirby star allies save without beating ultimate choice with every copy ability, I only had to beat all of the levels including soul melter ex with one copy ability, I chose a legion of marxs

XC2's 100% is ridiculous. You have to beat the game, obtain every rare Blade in the game (which requires NG+ and DLC), clear every side quest, max out all Affinity Charts (Drivers and Blades), max every Blade's trust stat, clear all Tiger! Tiger! levels on all difficulties, clear all Challenge Mode fights, buy/make all Poppi parts, get all of the Accessories/Pouch upgrades, and defeat every unique monster in the game. It would definitely be on the list if you played it.

How about Octopath Traveller? Find and purchase every item, eight travellers to get to level 99, multiple secret bosses, tons of side quests, and a secret final ultimate boss. Quite a bit of content.

it took me less than 10 hours to complete splatoon 2 story mode and about 7 hours for octo expansion.

If you’d had actually played XC2, pretty sure it would’ve been on the list. Anyway I can’t recommend you enough to try it out.
