I must admit that my personal preference is the Southern University "Fabulous Dancing Dolls", but I definitely love and support every one of our HBCU dance lines period! #HBCUPride

The stingettes hands down for me shout to my all time Captains Asia, Amber Jada, and Janea, those were some beautiful women and some of the best squads HBCU all time. The others were good also, can’t take nothing away. Just MY opinion what’s yours?

Yeeeesssss!!!! HBCU Majorettes cannot be duplicated. My Beautiful sisters have always represented our artistry with Pride, Grace and Dignity. No matter how hard they (PWI) try you can only get this at an HBCU. Leetttttsss Gooooo GSU Tigers 🐅.

It's the BIG 3 for me - SU Fabulous Dancing Dolls, ASU Stingettes, and the JSU JSettes, but who can deny the power and force of the other dance lines including ASU Golden Girls, and the NCAT Golden Delight to be exact. Shout out to Stamper who is helping the Motion build its brand, that's just not my style at this time, but I am a Stamper fan from her days at SU.

The Alcorn State University Sounds of Dynamites and The Renowned Golden Girls, always maintain their status as being the first, and oldest hbcu dance team. The most viewed hbcu dance team in country.

Taking the Stands is a new mini-docuseries following Orchesis Dance Company of Louisiana’s Grambling State University (GSU). Orchesis was founded in 1948, by Catherine Jones Williams with goals to train dancers aesthetically, develop high artistic standards and foster an appreciation of dance as an art form, create a community awareness of modern dance and make it an accessible experience, and develop an ongoing repertoire that educates as it entertains.

I love all the majorette from the university. The best one over all was the Jackson State University Majorettes. Gambling was 2nd in place for me, then 3rd Memphis State University, and Taxes University. I treasure each university dancing squads. I’m a fan from Mississippi who played in the band in high school and college. I’m a nurse over 40 years, so this was a excellent show down for me. I enjoyed every minute! Sending love to all the universities for a job well done. Thank you dance teachers and band directors. This was my calling as a band director before I enter nursing school I got a scholarship a 4 yrs for music but my mom encouraged me to go with my second choice nursing which was my passion as well. Just sharing from Mississippi to Maryland. I still love my music and I’ve a baby grand piano in my home today. My daughter and grandchildren play but not me. I’m still business taking care of patients/clients today live! I love my professional as health care professional. Blessings to all universities!💕🙏🏼

Dolls are my Favorite, J-Settes are also great. And Sophisticated Ladies MUST be mentioned b/c Im from TN. HOWEVER, I was TODAY yeara old when I learned how FAB Grambling is! ❤ There are at least 3 girls smiling the ENTIRE routines, like theyre having the time of their life. Thats so beautiful. Transcends dance.
