It can be contested that the Egyptians are black but historically that is still debatable. Particularly European names are given to areas of Conquest, furthermore, in terms of those powerhouses or countries, they made claims by the names they promulgated by formulating historical records. We know that in northern regions of Africa like Mali, in the clay city of Timbouctou (a Toureg name) (Timbuktu) ancient libraries of books and journals abound with a host of African names and records detailing the past history. Possibly many of these records were not fully understood so the new Colonial master and conquerors simply "EURONISED" whatever suited them for simplicity and hence time and history dictated those names to remain into present-day time.

Also this makes E Africa get temperate forests, just like European and North American forests, instead of Tropical rain Forests
