A Himbo is basically a male character with large muscles, but they're not the brightest or self aware character in the bunch. the Himbo is so strong in the Joestar line that even Jolene gets some points. she gave them all to Foo Fighters; but she still had them.

So she's a herbo (that sounds so stupid... Couldn't we go with shebo or shembo instead?), a female himbo (and, bimbo is different. Bimbo is your quintessential dumb blonde, herbo/shebo are more meant to be the female himbo, a little dumb at times, but kinda cute but not in a sexual way. Think Adora from the new She-Ra)

Kirasima from My Hero Academia is one of my favorite Himbo. He is so righteous, and strong, yet dumb considering his grades. He believes in his friends, and himself, yet humble at the same time. When is just so awesome that Bakugo, who normally talks down others, encourages him to be better.

To me, a Himbo must have that "puppy/Golden Retriever" energy. That heart of gold or purity that shines, even if its to ideals/one person.

I forgot to mention this when I made my suggestions (glad Tuigu made the list at least), but I think Fujio Uzaki (Uzaki-chan's Dad) has a bit of Himbo energy about him. So caring about his wife and kids but also overly supportive of those at his gym. Plus, that vacation episode where he posed to show off his muscles when being encouraged by muscle fans just adds to that.

Favorite comment I've read about that said that since Kuwabara's english VA is Sabat, if you close your eyes, you can imagine it as a drunk Vegeta mourning Goku. And I can't not hear that now.

Yukimura Sanada from the Sengoku Basara series deserved at least an HM, if not an actual slot. The man hits all the checkboxes so hard, he practically radiates himbo energy! I’m so happy to see another Anime America Top 10 list! Yours are some of the best T10s on KZfaq, and I dearly miss the days when we got one every month or so. I understand that you’re busy, Robyn, but we miss you, Tsumi, the countdowns, and the AniAme community!

I'll admit, I started watching Demon Slayer because everybody was talking about it. I thought, yeah Tanjiro is a goody two shoes and Nezuko is cute, it's just okay. But when Inosuke appeared I thought "WHO IS THIS!?" and I fell for the kid. He's my precious boy and I love him so much! The boar boy made me stay.

As a Slayers fan for so many years, it is awesome to see it mentioned. It is such a fun series, with my favourite being the Next installment. And yes, I agree that Gourry is a jellyfish-for-brains, but he means well. Most of the time.

If you want some suggestions for what to try out on the trip, I suggest you reach out to Gaijin Goombah; he has quite a few series covering Japanese culture in popular media, and he also has taken quite a few trips to Japan over the years and could give some insights on what places are probably a good idea to visit during the time your trip is set.

Woo hoo! 7 and 5! Happy with the picks! I always have a soft spot for characters who show love to such a degree that it’s heartwarming, but you’re also wheezing laughing at what they’re doing. Bonus if the expression adds to it, like Edomae’s being stoic or Takeo and his many thinking faces. Big reason why I love Sig and Armstrong as well. Everything is intense.

2:45 What makes Kametz's death hit even harder is that his voice acting career didn't even last a decade. Dying young sucks. Christopher Ayers at least had a career which spanned 18 years before his death. From ADV Films, to Funimation and to Sentai Filmworks. Brad Venable also suffered the same fate 1 year before Kametz. Despite being born in the the late 70s he wouldn't start voice acting till the early 2010s. May these voice actors' souls rest in peace 🙏.

I would put Yumoto's big brother from Cute earth club defense love in the honorables mention. This guy is strong, always working hard and cares about Yumoto's safety; he's so kind 🥰I like him! I don't know any characters from Uta prince-sama or Inuyasha who's a himbo. Not sure there's one in Yona of the dawn too. Hak is strong but he's not that tall and he's not an idiot. Nobody in Karneval is a himbo. Same for the characters in Phantom in the twilight (A very good shoujo with action, magic and drama. I recomand it!)

I have not heard of some of these guys, seen them in memes yes, but never heard of them. However when I saw President Edomae I went, "HOLY ISH!!! IT'S ANIME ARNIE!" Also, it seems that if you want a himbo voice for anime... you hire Johnny Yong Bosch. Because Inosuke, Broly, Vash the Stampede, and Johnathon Joestar were all voiced by him.

No, he voices Giyu Tomioka. Inosuke is voiced by Bryce Papenbrook.

I think the Toriko from Toriko could’ve made on this list, especially if you were willing to read through the manga. Or Kirishima from my hero academia I’m surprise he wasn’t even in the honorable mention this boy is 100% a Himbo . And answer the question of who my favorite Himbo is Kuwabara hands down just barely underneath him would have to be Taiju

Armstrong is 100% clueless about social cues, but Curtis displays remarkable insight into other people throughout the series both when he immediately identifies that the military investigators do not have good intentions(immediately leading to the pose off with armstrong), and when the Elric Brothers first become students under Izumi. He sees exactly how both their emotions and Izumi's are complicating the situation, and has the tact to wait until he is alone with Izumi to bring it up.

You've probably seen the comics I posted on Twitter (which is now X), so you might be familiar with the himbos DJ Silverwing and I come up with for them. Joseph Jostar is the very embodiment of the himbo, but I wonder how he'd compare to Sleep-Rock and his clones.

Some of my favorite anime Himbo's are Kirishima from mha, Hairo from Saiki K, Gintoki Sakata from Gintama & Yoshio Hanamori from Princess Jellyfish(he's a himbo to me).

I would have to say that Toriko from Toriko is a Himbo in a similar vein to Armstrong and Sig. He's intelligent in what he does as a living, but for anything else, can't read the room worth a damn. Didn't realize he was getting mugged until he was told, is only motivated by the prospect of his next meal and a bit dense when it comes to societal norms. However, he has a heart of gold, a love and appreciation for nature and the bounty it provides to the point that he doesn't kill what he doesn't want to eat and is very kindhearted to all he meets. He views life as one big adventure filled with delicious things to eat.
