The complete "Dallas" and "Dynasty are available on DVD through Warner Home Video and CBS/Paramount, resp. "Dallas" will be streaming on Amazon US (already on Apple TV, but not season 1!) and soon its HD remastered version will be available on HBOMax.
"Falcon Crest" may be seen on Amazon Freevee / Amazon Prime Video, and its first 4 seasons on streaming on iTunes. First 3 seasons available on DVD. First 2 seasons of "Knots Landing" available on DVD thru WHV too. "The Colbys" complete series available through Shout! Factory.

I always thought Fresco was a soap parody. The miniseries with Carol Burnett.

Excellent! The best parodies, etc Brilliant idea! The Newhart closing should have been higher though. And in the 80s or 90s, there was a mini-series called Fresno, I think that was a comedy soap opera. It actually was pretty good. Anyway, Bravo!!

There was also an episode of Step By Step where somebody tried to distract the character played by Patrick Duffy by saying something like, “Look, it’s JR!”

I didn´t see that one, thanks for mentioning that. I did see the ones citing Patrick´s "missing brother" (Sasha´s character´s dad...and also on "Dallas") and citing Victoria Principal, they were fun! Toni
