I loved videos #1 and #2. I did flip flop from 2 to 1 as you recommended. I used to subscribe to board game ramblings and stopped subscribing because I became a binge watcher. I couldn’t get enough of them and I started watching Jamie and Jeff. Being on this side of the world their games were more accessible to get. Now I have subscribed to board game ramblings realizing again how enjoyable their videos are.👍👍👍

"Super Beige"..."YAY!" haha I loved this video! Brian Boru is great and I was surprised at how much I loved it because I lean more towards the Jamie style of aesthetic. It isn't one we get to the table much because of the minimum 3 player though.

Great video, great selection! Loved Brian Boru, but - like you mentioned - the 3-player-minimum requirement was a detriment for me as well. One option for two players, that I thought was also fairly innovative at the time of release, is Fox in the Forest, a fun trick-taking game, in which some cards also have special powers; in addition, the Duet version of the game adds a small board, and becomes a cooperative game (for couples who don't particularly like direct confrontation).

I forgot about Gloom. It came out 11 years before Mystic Vale. I'm surprised there weren't other games using card building in all that time, and it took Sir John D. Clair to bring it back in multiple games. I love card building, we need it in more games.

I have been watching Board Gaming Ramblings for a very long time and recently started watching your Foster the Meeple channel. I have seen an evolution and maturation in your channel that is very positive. Today's joint series is fun and got me to finally subscribe to your channel. Good job!

Sorcerer's City is a lot of fun! I think it flew under the radar because it's a real-time game and a lot of folks don't like the pressure. I was terrible at the game and thoroughly enjoyed it!

YESSSSS! Munchkin HATE! Made for some of the worst 3 hour board gaming sessions I've ever had. Also, be careful of Gloom....it's very group dependent. My first play was amazing. You need few good story tellers, with very sarcastic wits. Otherwise, Gloom will fall very flat.
