Custom builds are challenging to maintain if you didnt do the build yourself. My Icon Old Ghost averages 3 rides between parts replacements.

Where have you Been ! There are Spectacular Cafe-builds out there , many , many true works of Art . Look-up Yamaha XV1000 Plan B cafe . And the-cool CX's have been done-to-death, but still cool .

As much as I love all the choices in this list, I do have a remark: most builders fail to acknowledge how important exhaust pipes are for a sweet, final look for a truly great build

This is going to clash heavily with the YN ethos, but I started with a Honda monkey as it's basically just a scooter with a 4 speed. My wife loves it so much she got a license... I am now on the market for a new bike because the monkey is now hers.

33.7x more fatalities per mile than cars, does your wife dislike you? If so, just bring up that stat and she will even drive you to the dealership! I don't have a wife or kids, so a sportbike would fit me well.
