Күн бұрынYoda, the ancient Jedi Grand Master that we all saw with Luke in the originals, then again in the prequels with Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace and the rest of the Jedi Order on Coruscant. George Lucas has stated that Yoda was a mystical character. Like a Wizard. He comes and goes and you don't really know much about him. You don't know his species or his previous life, you don't really know anything about him at all.
Baby Yoda raises all the same questions, maybe more, and I hope we'll see them explained in The Mandalorian Season 2. Maybe Baby Yoda The Child will use dark side force powers like he did on Cara Dune, maybe even...Force lightning like Palpatine used...

One thing I've not seen addressed, the reason baby Yoda may not speak is because his species struggles with language. Even Yoda himself doesn't speak "properly" so perhaps he is more cognisant than would appear relative to his language skills. Not every species learn the same way.

He/it definetely appears to be much more cognisant than you would think according to speaking skills.... like it knows when bad crap is about to happen. It points to the mando that the frog lady left the ship... lots more examples too. An appropriate aged human wouldn't have the brains for any of that yet.

no his species talks perfectly fine, as evidence by yaddle in the comics, master vandar in kotor 1, and 1 other that i'm forgetting. it's confirmed in legacy that yoda can talk properly but chooses not to, because apparently, when you've been saying the same things for hundreds of years people start to lose interest. so he's doing it on purpose just to mix things up keep people listening

I’m not sure that “Baby Yoda” is actually an infant. He could be the equivalent of an eight year old, that has lived in captivity his entire life. He’s probably fond of Dinn, because he released him from captivity. If you think about it, Yoda was far older that most species, yet he still had trouble processing spoken language. The same is probably the case with “the Child”, whom we have never heard speak. Yet, he seems to have at least a basic understanding of the the people speaking to him.

I think he is more like 5 or 6. But i totally aggree with the rest. We see him grow up compared to S1 as well. He shows Mando that the Frog Lady is gone, sth he didn't do in S1 and he also runs more in S2. Many people thinks he is in a growth spurt and thats why he eats so many egg, with lines up with, what i prevously mentioned.

Yoda talked weird because it sounds wise. He actually doesn’t struggle speaking at all because it you change the syntax of your sentences, it doesn’t actually change the meaning.

His name is Grogu, he is the strongest force user at this point of the timeline, but after the fall of the Jedi at coruscant he was stolen for experiments, after the death of Darth Vader the Empire wants to use Grogu's blood to give force powers to a Darth Vader clone. Due to the traumatic experience Grogu's fear blocks the use of his force abilities but through the bond with Mando he is finally able to overcome the fear. Grogu will most likely be a grey jedi being unable to be accepted by the Jedi, and being rejected from Ahsoka Tano. Grogu aka baby yoda will a Darth Revan like character using both light and dark parts of the force

Here's a theory: Since we know Asoka is about to show up, and she knows about the "World between Worlds" she will take baby Yoda the only place he'll be safe, which is the past. So, baby Yoda IS Yoda. Asoka accompanies him, which is why she's not around during the fight with the first order. That is why the Imperial remnant is so desperate to get baby Yoda, because (somehow) they know if they do the Empire would never fall in the first place.

Although, a 50 year egg seems laughable. It is no more so than a 50 year infancy. I envision the egg is placed inside a pile of bio matter on their swamplike planet, like alligators do. The decaying matter produces heat for the developing amphibovore.

Baby Yoda's eye color may not necessarily remain brown as he grows older. Some bird species for example, are known for such changes. Even some humans start out with brown eyes that change to hazel.

@@boythekid984 yes I’m literally calling stw a fake fan. I thought he was better than this to call him baby yoda. Some random news show called him that cuz “he looks like yoda” and the new blew up. It’s not a name given by Disney or Lucas or anyone. It’s a name used by clueless poeple who don’t understand that this isn’t yoda, it’s a member of his species. And now avid Star Wars watchers are even calling it that, and it pisses me off

I think "Force Healing" is actually called Force Mending, it makes more sense to call it that. Healing is a subjective term, Mending(in a medical sense) literally means to seal wounds and remove any after effects of the wound, hence why the poison went away when the child helped Greef Karga.

@@rexerus07 Nothing you said makes sense, "Baby Yoda" is 50 years old in "human years", Yoda became a jedi master at 100 "human years" and died at 900 "human years".

@mukathefreak Yes, but that doesn't mean anything. Anakin was a child of 9 in Ep1 and 23 in Ep 3, where he was mature and talented enough that he could have been a master (IT'S NOT FAIR).. Fudge maturation ratios by a bit and you can see that a walking, cognizant, occasionally accidentally force using being could be a child at one age and a master at about twice that age.. Just because The Child looks like an infant, doesn't mean he is. He's non verbal, but we have no idea if his species even uses verbal speech, explaining why a 900 year old Yoda struggles with syntax. The Child can walk and reason and find his own food and lift a mythosaur, so he's probably in mid adolescence for his species, must like Anakin was while pod racing while still needing to be boosted up to reach the sink.
