Lin Gengxin (Chinese: 林更新, born 13 February 1988), also known by his English name Kenny Lin, is a Chinese actor. Lin rose to fame for his role in Scarlet Heart (2011), and since then has starred in several #1 box office hits such as Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon (2013), My Old Classmate (2014), The Taking of Tiger Mountain (2014) and Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back (2017).
林更新（1988年2月13日－），中国大陸男演员，2011年毕业于上海戏剧学院，同年在電視劇(步步惊心)中饰演十四阿哥而成名，因徐克導演的賞識，參演了(狄仁杰之神都龙王)、(智取威虎山)、(三少爺的劍)、(西游伏妖篇)等多部電影。2014年獲提名第33届香港电影金像奖最佳新人獎。他也饰演《武神赵子龙》的男主角。

I have a feeling that Kenny Lin gengxin is suppressing himself when it comes to romantic roles...he has SO MUCH potential. Though in Princess Agents he is cool and distant in reality he is a simple, kind hearted goof ball. I don't know about his life experiences but I feel that his being shy is the key reason he doesn't tend to do romantic roles? Anyhow I hope and pray he evolves. I pray he gains more confidence in himself and pray that there is a second season of princess Agents so that he can challenge himself by playing a deeper romantic role haha. I'm glad he and Mark Chao are best buds. I pray for continued growth. Good luck ✊️

I never idolize actor in my teenagers life’s . Just this time someone share PA in fb i and tired to click and watch it .until i finish the whole episodes . I started to search his identity in youtube and same to the girl . I found it that his had a very low key of personality yet and his very humble kind of person . And I’ve got interested to travel to china and visit beautiful tourist places . And same time visit to the restaurant that he own by him? Reading all these comments,i begin to wonder if all these people ever think or remember that these actors are human like themselves,they have their own taste,aspirations ,their own personal outlook towards /in life,so why keep matching them on a matter that is so private to everyone.
