Nice video but cities like Szczecin and Wrocław weren’t a part of Poland until 1945. Instead, you could’ve included Lwów and Grodno til 1945.

@@MaGeoStats Yes, I see that, but I meant why it lost so many people in last 20 years? Maybe there is similar problem like in Detroit where many factories bankrupted and people had to move for job to different city.

@@Pidalin Yes that is it.Now life in the city does not begin to transform and adapt to the realities of today and is a place of pilgrimage for fans of industrial tourism

@@Pidalin After the end of the Cold War, most factories were closed, people had nowhere to work and left, and from the city itself there was one great ruin that they have to repair to this day.

@@newagpesa8711 Same like here, but still, we have no big city which had such population loss, except little cities next to some mine where almost all people worked in the mine. I think there was some population drop after 1989 but after 2000 it's going up again.
