the higher rank/wealth family living normally like us even better than us...their kids studied at Europe..and not everyone can work and live in capital, Pyongyang . They also send people around the world, force to work for country.. they only got 5-10% of their salary ....they cant ran away because anything you do, your family get consequences

the thing about the North Korean people trying to escape is true, a few years ago their team for the IMO (international maths olympiad) escaped in the UK, they didnt compete for a few years after that, and now the team has body guards so that none of them can escape, you arent even allowed to talk to them, so i do think that they know that what they are going through isnt normal

I was stationed in Seoul South Korea for 16 months in the army between 2007 and 2008. I went to the DMZ boarder of North and South Korea and it is crazy all the stories of North Korea kidnapping Southern Residents even with all the guards and patrols that go on. South Korea was nice but we are always watching the North waiting for them to do something crazy.
