I literally just started and I’m actually amazed that you felt like Extreme Aubergine is so hard to blend out. I use natural hair brushes with it and I am OBSESSED with how deep it goes without muddying up my makeup looks. A lot of deep purples or plums will create what I call the line of death on my eyes and I can see the clear difference between it and the rest of my look. But for some reason that one totally doesn’t. It’s a testament to Pat’s superior formula. It legit is why I recommend that particular palette to anyone interested in Pat.

Pat McGrath is def a #1, u can’t go wrong w any of her large palettes. But most versatile is Bronze Seduction & Divine Rose #1 or 2. I think ND is too hit or miss. She has some great midi palettes, but some that are not good. And a lot of shades look the same on the eye making it not worth the $$. Though I do love the Gold. Can’t go wrong w Viseart- there’s a reason pro MUA use it & will continue to use it. U can get neutrals & colorful palettes & all perform amazing & last. And they have a huge sale twice a year

As a long time Morgan fan and viewer, I have 9/10 of these palettes and can attest to how amazing these are! I didn’t get smoky eyes are forever bc I had the previous 2 years palettes from CT 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve gone back and forth over the ND green brown palette so many times - I LOVE LOVE green eyeshadow but I rarely use my metropolis palette and fear I would end up doing the same with the green brown - but, the green brown appears to have my preferred shade of browns - And the ND gold palette catches my eye every time I see it.

Thanks for the recommendations! I’ve never tried Dior or Tom Ford eyeshadows, but I’d love to at some point. My fav luxury eyeshadow palettes are PM divine rose two, Charlotte Tilbury’s Smokey Eyes are Forever, and Natasha Denona Glam palette. I feel like I’m spoiled by those three beauties!

I agree with you on so many of your choices especially the viseart ones. Whenever I pull it out I use it for almost every look for my Matt’s. The formulation is beautiful! It’s a very underrated pallet because it’s technically boring but likely will be your most used pallet.

10/10 would recommend the Charlotte Tilbury quad and neutral Viseart palette. I also think the Tom Ford Visionaire palette is GORGEOUS. Whenever I want to feel fabulous and expensive, it’s my go to.

My holy grail of holy grails is ND GOLD palette, and the Visiert Liaison palette. They compliment my coloring, all of my outfits. And, yes, I have traveled far and wide, on planes, and also, on road trips. Lol. Many times. I love Pat MCGrath Divine Rose 2 as well, but wouldn’t put her in a suitcase, and on a plane. I have Divine Rose 1 as well, and sometimes combine the both of them. . For mattes, can’t beat Visiert Neutral/Warm. Need to try some more on your list. Maybe the Dior for a quick and easy look on the go. Great vid, as always. I have the CT Fire Rose quad, so I wouldn’t need the Pillow talk dream palette.

I have all of these except for the cashmerian. Eyeshadow pallets are my passion. Thanks for all of your honest, in depth reviews. You are definitely my go to for luxury pallets, especially the inconsistent ones like Tom Ford. The only disagreement I had with you was the Climax Christmas red packaged grungy pallet with blue, blue green and pink. I love that one and even bought a backup, but, otherwise I agree with you completely.

You literally chose my favorite Pat McGRATH Motherships. I wear Bronze Seduction the most when I want to rock a red lip. I also love the new Huetopia palette and the Divine Rose II palette. I just got the Subliminal palette, so now I’ve completed my Mothership collection. 😊👏🏾 A new luxury love includes my new Tom Ford Rose Topaz quad and my favorite Charlotte Tillbury Fire & Rose quad.

Viseart has also beautiful shimmer colors. But I agree, they are the best matte eyeshadows. Even the difficult matte shades like purple, dark brown and black blend like a dream. They are very well pigmented, so handle with care. Also positive is the longer shelf life and if you always use clean brushes and keep the pallets dry and cool, these eyeshadows really last a very long time.

I recently traveled for work (then play) and wore make up seven of the eight days that I was gone. I brought all Viseart palettes. It’s just my holy grail when it comes to doing a quick eye look that looks really good and I didn’t even have to think about it at 6:30 in the morning when I’m getting ready for my work conference. I also own eight out of the 11 pallets that you mentioned. I would never travel with Pat McGrath-too heavy, yes, pat McGrath is also just a formula that I really need to sit down, do swatches, and devise a plan for my look.

Hello Morgan, I have to say that out of all the brands you showed us here the only one I still haven’t tried is Charlotte Tilbury. I have always wanted to try her formula. Love ND Glad and Retro midi's and i have so many of the minis still waiting for the green Retro come on Natasha 😂, PML motherships are just amazing. Viseart is so easy to use still want to pick up Cashmerie. CT 12 pan palettes are so worth it compared to the quads in my opinion, better formula and price.

I’ve heard so many reviewers rave about Dior’s Soft Cashmere quint - to the extent I grabbed it up during the holidays sales last year - arrived with two of the 5 shadows the literal exact same so some sort of defect in manufacturing. Returned it. Purchased a second one several months later and still - the one I have always looks way darker than the soft cashmere palette my favorite KZfaqrs hold up - like Morgan’s you can see the pink truly looks pink - all five shades in mine look the same color - all really dark.

I tried to get the Viseart neutrals palette during the sale - I failed, it sold out soooo quick 🙃 The only palettes I want now are, Tom Ford Metal Lust and the Viseart neutrals, I'll be quite happy then 🤞🤞 Lots of love 💗 PS - I'm so sorry I'm late watching, I'm being hit with migraines which are knocking me sideways🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have not tried any of the Tom Ford or Charlotte palettes. I own most of the Pat and ND palettes. The only Dior quint I own is Soft Cashmere. I recently purchased Viseart palettes and I was devastated when I could not find the Cool tone palette on the bigger size. I was going to buy the other Viseart palette you mentioned but it is too similar to my ND Glam palette.

Okay … Club Nebula from Kaleidos was by far a luxury feeling pallet. I know it’s a Indy brand but if you have it the lux feeling is there. Love me some ND! Glam and Retro all the way! ❤️

I have almost all the mothership palettes except the subversive. I love the look of the pink, purple and blue but I feel like the other shadows are repeats of what I already have. Trying to decide if it is worth the $170 CAD for three shades🙈

Any eyeshadow primer recommendations for oily lids with hooded eyes?? I've tried rare beauty and hourglass eye primers as well as using concealer as a primer. And my lids seem to eat off the eyeshadow within a couple hours. I have noticed it seems to come off faster with CT quad palettes (golden goddess, eyes of a star)... not sure if that's just a me issue. I love eyeshadow but I feel like I'm wasting my money cause it never stays on long. It's like I never put it on by the end of the night. :(

In terms of matte eyeshadows, it really doesnt get better than ND and Viseart. I love shimmery eyeshadows but I really get overwhelmed with ND and PMGL formula. Its just easier for me to work with shimmer shades from Huda, Tarte or even Colourpop

Sadly the Glam palette and Gold palette are not available on Sephora any longer and I get free shipping from them. Some of the mini palettes are also disappearing.

The eye primer has been gone too. Its my favourite one and works really well with her shadows and other brands. I hope they restock it. Mini Glam is sold out like you said and some other things.

I got the big purple blue palette because you said you think it's her best formula. I like the palette but I don't think the shimmers are the best. They're more satin which is flattering yes but boring lol. I guess it's just a difference in taste you know. No regrets, I just don't agree that it's her best. It's still fantastic.

Noticed on Saturday the gold palette came back on ND website but not available for shipping to EU, and subversive is only available on PM website at 150€+customs charges! Whyyyy? 😭😭😭

Early off when I began purchasing luxury and high end makeup I decided that ND, Viseart and Pat McGrath had the best formula so I stuck with those. Aunty Pat palettes are my least worn though. I wear ND’s palettes way more. It is more versatile, so too does she have better, more comprehensive colour stories. I have never tried CT’s eyeshadows because her colour stories never suit me. Viseart needs no hype, they do their job and it’s worth the price.

Morgan, I’ve spent a ton of time on Camera ready costmetics designing palette as I love greens but can’t decide between Lethal Costmetics and Sidney Grace - I’ve heard you rave about SG so makes me think the shadows could be better but I’m so attracted to the Lethal Cosmetics options in the colors I like - anyone else have thoughts please share.

I only have lethal cosmetics and I really like what I have! I think their mattes are where they’re the best though. The shimmers are nice but average (i don’t know about their multichromes though!) I hear Sydney grace has a nice and more metallic formula. So it depends on what you’re looking for

Great video I have something from every brand you mentioned except Dior I’m not really in to cool neutrals what else would you recommend from Dior it can be neutral but maybe lean warm I want to try Dior but I don’t want to go in blind if they are hit or miss as far as the formula also for deep complexion

@ I personally love Dior as my top brand - have you seen the Nude Dress palette? It’s neutrals but with the warm shift - has a gorgeous white and soft peach with a creamy deep brown I use in outer corner. Also, if looking for brighter warms, the newest release collection , the velvets, there is a really pretty coral palette I’m eyeballing if you -

I’m going to go to Sephora so that I can look at them in person rather than ordering them online. Is there a big difference in quality between the Backstage and the 5 shades?

I got mitzah because I was also confused about which dior quint to get.no regrets with mitzah at all.it has a sophisticated finish which I enjoy.and beautiful soft colors

Can someone tell me why the lighter colors in a pallet always seem to be overlooked!?! It’s few and far in between that a pallet has an inner corner hi lite that’s ACTUALLY bright enough for that spot!? Light is just as important as the dark when building dimension. I always find myself reaching for a different pallet or highlighter even for my inner corner! I need pigment! It’s frustrating, honestly. Especially with the prices I pay for these pallets. I think I own 8 of the pallets you mentioned here, and still I find this to be the case.
