Love to have both of you on this collab. How lucky are we to have you both? I love Sonia G brushes they are fantastic, I love rephr but one powder brush I cannot live without is the La Mer powder brush. I have had it for years and it still looks brand new. Oh and a quick shout out to Wayne Goss and his brushes as well. They are all really good. You cannot go wrong. Top marks to Sonia G .

Hi Angela! Thank you so much for doing this video with me! I also love that Chantecaille brush, sometimes I use it for a powder compact. You were more organized than me, I kept bouncing back from face to eye brushes 😂 I agree that the Chanel brush is amazing but now I need to try that Angie Hot & Flashy concealer brush because it looks amazing!

Hourglass brushes are my absolute favourite!! I invested in 5 of them this year and am so impressed with how nicely they apply makeup!

Hi Angela, as I told Alli, I have a ridiculous number of brushes for a non-You Tuber! I just love playing with makeup. I wash all of my brushes after one use, so it’s probably good that I have so many. My collection includes: Westman Atelier, Sonia G., Rephr, Chantecaille, Wayne Goss, Angie Hot and Flashy set. Only one Chanel retractable brush. Also have the LaMer powder brush, and a few Tom Ford brushes. A lot! Great video😎

I loved this concise selection, there are so many brushes it can often be overwhelming at times. Thank you especially for mentioning the chanel blender/shader dual brush, that is brilliant and I'm ordering it immediately..lol.....thank you again! I also love the Angie "hot and flasy" undereye concealer brush, such a great design. I'm also wanting to get a few of the sonia g brushes at some point, I know michelle wang raves about them and I think I would start with the builder pro and the worker pro (sorry if I got the names wrong)......have a great day!

Great video! Never wore makeup until I started last year. Until that point it was two things: tinted moisturizer in the winter to even out skin tone and yes a lip brush. Those of us who came of age in the early 1980s were raised in 1970s feminism and many of us never ever wore makeup. Hence zero skills. One aspect of my job took me to court where everyone wore lip color - a lip brush allowed me to use enough to look polished. Love your channel - I learn a lot and it's just gorgeous.....thanks g

Hello Angela ! I agree with your choices ☺️. I love makeup brushes . I have the Chanel dual ended eyeshadow brush but it’s a little bit different now . Chanel discontinued brushes with natural bristles so now this brush is made with synthetic black bristles. Very soft. I have some Chanel natural bristles makeup brushes ( my favorite one is the blush brush) but unfortunately discontinued. Love Repr brushes too. Thank you very much! Have a wonderful weekend! 🌷💖

I am considering buying the Chanel dual-ended eyeshadow brush. Now, they only come in synthetic hair, and the ferrule doesn't seem pinched like it was with the natural hair. Were you able to see the new one, and how would you compare it to the old ones? Is it still worth it or should I look elsewhere? Thanks!

@@anafeller4069 In my opinion , these brushes don’t worth the price tag. These new ones are just ok. Practical for travel but you can have similar results with Real Techniques brushes and save a lot of money . Have a good day ! 🌷

I have all Rephr brushes and I totally agree they are amazingly soft and best applicators. I also love Chanel eye duo, also my favorite. Will have to try the concealer brush that you recommended, I’m 38 and my under eye skin has lost some elasticity! Thank you for the video ♥️

Here are some of my favorite brushes: For powder - LaMer, Rodial The Teddy Brush Blush - Wayne Goss, the Air Brush Concealer - Cle de Peau, Angie Hot & Flash Cream Blush - Sisley Foundation - Shiseido Hanatsubaki Eyes - Rae Morris (Personal Set), Rephr Eye Brush Set, Wayne Goss 16, 17 and 21. The Wayne Goss brushes are wonderful. The Shiseido brush is extremely soft and buffs foundation into the skin; I have a second one for powder. Thanks for this interesting video.

Good brushes and a great canvas is smething that I learned in my life of painting. I got to a point of paying $136 dolars for and oil painting brush. So I know and appreciate the importance of good makeup brushes. Great video!!!!XO

I love my repher brushes but Sonia g brushes are my favorites. I’m in love with the sky eye set, the pencil pro, the smudger 2, the buffer pro and the inochige pro. The only one I could live without but still really love is the flat definer from the eye sky set. They are simply perfection

I have rosacea and sensitive skin. I bought CT beautiful skin foundations, do you think CT brush for it is the best choice? Or are there alternatives? I don't want very thick coverage to look as if I have a mask on me. Thank you very much

I would have lived you to give the brand name of the Italian blush brush anyways ☺ Hope you will because since its that good I might try there other brushes. Blessings beautiful soul 🙏 I will definitely buy chanel duo brush and replace or dior backstage because I have a little face I think it'll help me apply beautifully the blush. I love applying blush and enjoy its amazing effects it can make on a face. Love love love

I have that same Chanel retractable brush. I also have another Chanel eye brush that is travel/retractable - it is the Dual-Ended Eye-Contouring Brush N°201. You can use this one in the same manner as the 203 brush and also it has a small brush for using to line the eyes. You may want to pick this one up for travel as well. I find Wayne Goss brushes to be very nice and also a brand called CHIKUHODO - these are Japanese brushes - they are very nice.

Hello Angela I have all of the Chanel retractable eye brushes and love them, but I noticed that they changed the brush hairs now and they no longer look like the one you and I own. Have you tried the new one with the all black bristles?

Those are not luxury brushes…these are luxury brushes: Hakuhodo, chikuhodo….Bisyodo (the African rosewood handles with 24k gold coated brass ferrules YES) …surratt….(surratt is made by chikuhodo basically the surratt face is almost exactly like the chikuhodo Z-1. I own both. I prefer the surratt face)….I’m not a huge fan of Koyudo but they are a luxury brush maker. I have like 18 brushes from them…not a lot…
