Top 10 Magic Products of 2022

Here is my list of what I think are the 10 best magic product releases of 2022. While there were many releases in 2022, my list is compiled exclusively of only magic products I reviewed. There may be some releases that were better but if I did not review it, it did not make it onto my list. Each one of these products I have personally performed to people in real world situations to see how people respond to the effect and better understand the products pros and cons.

Yo Jackson. In some ways I would love to keep Unhanded under the radar screen so not everyone is performing with it. It has so much potential past the original presentation and I am confident it will be in play for a lot of magicians and will fly by other magicians what the gimmick is. Thanks so much Paul. It is immpossible to keep up with all the releases that happen in just a week. I try my best but I struggle. Great list Jonny!! I have been on the fence regarding POV Pad for months-- You just put me over the edge-- ordering now!! Also, Fringe Mentalism completely flew under my radar-- will be looking into that--- Wishing you a great 2023!!

Hi David, to be honest I was a little slow to adopt POV but after using it in real life performance I realized how great it is and easy to get the peek. Also I think Fringe Mentalism flew under the radar of a lot of folks. It is one of those releases that did not have a lot of hype behind it but just really good solid working material. Wish you a magical 2023 and thank you for the Reviews and the list. I always like when somebody gives his assessment after performing an effect himself for a time and explains why he thinks it deserves the praise ... most of the effects I do not own but I have a billet Masterclass by Alexander Marsh put out some time ago (which is very good). Would be interesting to know whether and how the one released through the 1914 differs from that one 🤔 Anyway stay safe and take care 👍

Hey Cart thanks for the comments. Your point is really good when it comes to Slick by Alan Rorrison. I was rather indiferent to it at first but the more I used it I found it to be a great tool. By the way I did not realize know Alexander Marsh had put out a previous billet masterclass. Thanks so much for being here and leaving the comment. I always enjoy hearing from you.

Thanks so much TMB. For me it felt so nice in 2022 to finally get back out and perform on a regular basis. It allows me to put some real world experience into the release and see how well it plays and how easy or difficult it is to pull off the sleights. Last year I think I owned 5 out of your 10 are we growing apart?? 😭lol but I do have unhanded and the quantum deck on my wishlist maybe pull the trigger and this year almost could have been called the year of Craig petty anyways nice list and TC.

Yo Muppetonmeds. I hope we are not growing apart. 😍 You kind of hit it on the head with it being the year of Craig Petty. Craig put out so many products this year and in my opinion most of them are good releases. I didn't pick up every one of them but what I did get I like. I feel like Craig is the best in the business right now when it comes to value. You can always count on him providing lots of content on his tutorial with a lot of different ideas. I really appreciate that and think it makes a difference. What was your favorite release of the year?

Hi Jonny, hope you're getting near getting rid of that bug that got hold of you! It was interesting how some tricks that made it onto to your list even though your initial assessment hadn't been that great. It got me wondering ... Have there been any/many tricks that you had thought were workers but in reality didn't quite work for you? And similarly, how about tricks, that in your opinion were hyped far more than they deserved and were shown to be not up to the mark when used in the real world. There you go Jonny ..... You can get a show out of that! Take it easy my friend.

Hey Gary, let me start by saying how much I appreciate you being a loyal watcher. I personally always enjoy hearing from you and your perspective. Ok now let us deal with those that I gave great reviews to but ultimately don't use or found them not to be that great over time. I think this is a great idea for a review. I definitely have a number of products that I loved on and then found that I really did not use them that much or finally just ended up in the drawer. There are quite a number of those. I will start putting this together for a review this year. Thanks for the idea, I love it. Have a Happy New Year!!!
