Ten Haag won the league 3 years in a row prior to him coming in they hadn’t won it in 4 years. Took them to a ucl semi final and a Europa league final. Then came to united and in his very first season has already won the league cup and is in the finals of the FA cup. The comparison to arteta is pretty unfair considering he’s already had 3 years at the club versus ten Haags 9 months at the club. Both very good managers the disrespect to ten Haag is crazy though.

They've mentioned a few times about how ETH has spent so much more than Arteta when in actual fact he only spent 50 million more than him this season. And if you look at the clubs overall, Arsenal outspent United by 25 million the previous summer and a few hundred bags the summer before that. Arsenal not spending under Arteta is a massive myth.

@@ibotmania4284 but ur not taking into consideration the difference between the squads that were inherited, United's squad when ten Haag joined was significantly better than the squad Arteta inherited; Arteta had the likes of Mustafi, Luiz, sokrates, kolasinac maitland niles, a washed Ozil, Ceballos on loan for 2 seasons because the board did not want to back him all of which being first team players. when ten haag joined he has Varane, shaw, dalot then got 60 mil to get lisandro straight away . also, arteta had to wait 3 years before being backed by the board when bringing in players, ten haag got backed immediately 60 mil lisandro, 70 mil casemiro, 75 mil antony plus also inheriting 75 mil sancho and 50 mil varane only 1 season before . so yes it is facts that ten haag has been backed more than Arteta. Arteta has spent 300 million in 3 and a half years. Ten haag has already gotten to spend 220 million in his first year now imagine that number in 3 and a half years.
