I'm so happy that there's still someone doing these mod reviews! I've loved every one of them-they're consice, to the point, and don't waste your time. I feel like I can really get a good idea for the best mods out there, and not have to watch a 30 minute long video :) Thanks for all the work you do!

I was really impressed that Fresh Animations is actually compatible with some other resource packs, I had custom biome dependent creepers, the animations still worked, AND it stacked with your shader recommendation from another video, making the diamond-studded underground creeper glint in the same way diamonds do. Magic!

This is one of your best collections to date. I'm very interested in mods that seem to enhance the vanilla feel and experience of the game, rather than trying to introduce new complex systems.

I very strongly agree with you. I have a personal modpack which is chock full of mods that, quoting you, “enhance the vanilla feel and experience of the game, rather than trying to introduce new complex systems.” My Minecraft is simultaneously normal looking and modded to all hell.

@@LsdRaccoon the nether update isn't as crazy detailed as Better Nether, so it still has a vanilla-like feeling, so maybe a toned-down or simplified Better End could make for a great End Update. But then comes caves update and it's so crazy detailed that vanilla now actually looks modded, so I dunno about that.

i tried fresh animation and for some reason villager eyes are white and i mean only white edit:nvm it wasn't compatible with sodium only optifine

They should make a mod called "Nether Crash" where the concept is that there are nether ruins in the overworld. Like you might find a nether fortress covered in vines and dirt. Or you might find dead nether biomes. Just an idea though Edit: maybe it could also be compatible with better nether.

It technically isn’t fully released for 1.17 yet. I still use the preview versions bc I like that connected glass 👀

@@fontajo Yeah...that's the one drawback to Iris, it doesn't do connected glass. If I could find a good replacement for that, it'd be perfect.

I remember watching you without having Java Minecraft. I found these videos so incredibly entertaining even though I wouldn't get to use the mods. Thankfully, I came to the quick realisation, I really wanted Java. So now I have it!

repurposed structures is one of my favourite mods. It's vanilla feeling but it adds more depth and adventure into the world. It's fantastic Beware of the new structures you find! It's not simple copy-pase-replace block :)

I really can’t wait until there’s a BOP version for 1.18 minecraft. Seeing all those cool biomes spawn on top of the new randomized terrain and seeing all the different combinations. That would be sick

Merling is my favorite origin. It changes the gameplay significantly. It's even better with the mermod that adds a cosmetic tail. I recommend some good ocean mods like endless ocean.

Petition for Eyeman to make a video introducing more mods for Fabric like the OptiFabric or LambDynamicLighting, or the OKZoomer. Note: The last 2 can be used with Sodium to make it feel like Optifine as you can't use OptiFabric and Sodium together.

The better nether mod always makes me feel sad. I LOVE the new biomes it adds, I think they're amazing and perfectly fit the vibe of the nether, that said, I HATE the mob it adds, they show up, screaming in the loudest most obnoxious ways possible and no matter how many of them you kill they always seem to respawn right next to you. I just want a version of the mod that adds just the biomes without the mobs.

Hey AsianHalfSquat! In the chance you see this comment, I know a great resource pack you could use if you ever revisit the "Minecraft horror game" idea, it's on Planet Minecraft and it is called "do you fear the DARKNESS ?" by a creator that goes by the name "Borben." It turns what would normally be a normal night lighting that you could slightly see through, to total darkness, meaning you NEED a light source like a torch etc. to see at night. It's basically the same as Hardcore Darkness, but it's for the 1.17 version, meaning you could make a new horror version with the new cave blocks.
