Fun Fact: Those stalactites at 1:55 that drip “Goop” in the “Goop caves” are probably based on an actual type of generation called (and I kid you not) Snottite. It’s some kinda sulphuric mineral deposit that is covered by micro organisms or something. It’s really quite interesting!

I know it's something small, but would you be able to lable the mods as Fabric of Forge in the description so it's easier to see which ones we are able to use? Great video as always!

Immersive weathering exists for both oculus is for for forge biome particle fabric only cave enhancements is fabric friend and foes is forge and fabric ecologics forge modern UI is forge only movement vision is fabric these are all i know other mods i do not know about.

Cave enhancements started as a bedrock mod. It’s not everyday you see a bedrock mod ported to java

Yup, we thought it would've been better on Java since vanilla enhancing isn't really much of a category on Bedrock.

I love these kinds of mods which add a sense of time or history to the world! Makes it feel less static too otherwise you're almost just living the same day on repeat. I often live in Snow biomes because I love that snow will cover anything you build. It's so dynamic! That is also why I like finding old ruins, or building my own. Gives the world story and meaning.

I wish there was a mod similar to the movement vision at the end there, where you can only see sound. Maybe you could hit a block to use echolocation and maybe they could say ores make different sounds when hit so you can find them, but it’d be very interesting. Either way I’d probably play with movement vision to beat the game, then turn it off and see what my builds look like, that sounds awesome

If you use the origins mod you can download a custom origin called the wardling that uses echolocation

The problem with that is last I checked, the wardling addon was Fabric only and all the other mods I use are Forge. That being said, I don’t really plan on keeping the world for long so I could probably sacrifice installing those

@@shadowmaster435 I mean it could work, I use an unofficial port of Origins so there’s a good chance most of the mods that depend on it also would need a port, but I don’t know anything about modding. All I know is Origins for Forge works pretty well for 1.16 and I haven’t run into many issues with it so that’s good enough for me

@@xQuandaleDinglex Appleskin, rainbow xp bar (just a texture pack), Rubidium (doesnt do anyrhing for UI but a must-have) UI overhaul. Overloaded armor bar and overloaded health bar are amazing too.

Edit: we are looking into these issues with the developer of Oculus. Original: Just want to note something about 1:23, Oculus is not made by us and we currently do not plan to make a forge port of either Iris or Sodium. Oculus + Rubidum have very bad issues currently due to the Forge API currently but not limited to: blocks not showing up correctly extreme crashes issues with the Create mod (which will not be issues in the upcoming Fabric version) issues with Immersive Engineering If you want to have a good experience with Iris, *please* use Fabric. You will not have a good time with Oculus.

@@StarLeader44 For performance, no, but for modding, yes. Forge mods are well equipped to deal with Optifine due to it’s native compatibility, and most have special modifications to make Optifine work nice.

In case you‘re planning on making another unknown mod list (i.e. under 50k downloads): There‘s a fabric mod based on the epic siege mod that really amps up the difficulty of the game. It makes mobs able to break blocks etc. It‘s called Nox and only has ca 2700 downloads… I searched for something like that for days, so i think this one really needs a boost :D

I just LOVE mods for MC which fit in super seamlessly or just add subtle things here and there. Modding for MC is so seamless nowadays that you can basically create your own "MInecraft 2". I watched one of those "Making MC look like the trailers" videos and, yup, it was basically just MC2 at that point with the cool but simple graphics overhaul and some of the bonus particle generators from this video

omg omg omg! Immersive weathering is one of my favorite mods now! I have been looking and wanting to make a mod that makes minecraft more alive and actually makes time pass without you having to do everything by yourself!! This is a perfect addon for a roleplay old times server modpack with friends!

I love the no respawn mechanics of untamed wilds, a mod that makes all mobs work like that would be cool, you'd need to be more conscious of driving species extinct

Ngl, I would love to see a challenge with that movement detection vision where the hunter has that on while the other has to do something around the hunter. It could be red light green light or some kind of monster that has OP powers but is only sensitive to movement

I'm personally after mods/texture packs like Biome particle weather, where nothing about the base game is changed except visually/aesthetically, and works with classic/programmer art. It'd be great if you did another vid like the client side mods you did (although I only run forge). I currently run (off top of my head) Mods: farsight, optifine, first person render, not enough animations, 3D skin, ambient sounds/environment, sound physics remastered Texture packs: Programmer Art (and the fixes packs for PA), fresh animations, (old) dirty bricks, (old) SE soundfix I also run music delay remover and creative music in survival. IMO for me this gives me a great experience in Minecraft... Although I haven't played in ages/that much anymore

Hey please check out these mods :- • Reinforced Chests, Reinforced Barrels & Reinforced Shulkers ( the dev calls them "Reinforced Storage" Series ). • Tokenable Furnace & Sotrage. I'll add more in your next video, if I come across more amazing mods.

I'd love someone to make a mod to change meters to feet instead. Might be really cool to have everything be just the bit more detail. Some obvious issues with the idea, but I think saying ah it wasn't perfect because for scale you could make the world very cool

Starting a server to play with my daughter, and I'd like to add some of these mods, but I'm unclear how the different server types work. For example, should I be using Forge? Fabric? Paper? Will Forge mods work on Paper, Fabric, etc? I guess most importantly -- is there a "best" version to use or most popular one? What tip would you give to a newbie? I've been researching but thought I'd ask here, too. Thank you.

how does one get good ambience mods for forge 1.18.2? I used to use Dynamic Surroundings, but i havent figured out how to make it work with 1.18.2, and have been interested if there are any better ambience mods out there. Not sure where to look tbh

Hey AHS could you do a macOS shaderpack collection bc im trying to look for Raytraced shaders for mac but i just can't find any that work (in case you didn't know, RT shaders liek SEUS and continuum just don't work on mac). Also, could you do a 'fabric optifine' modpack which basically is optifine on fabric without using the actual optifine mod? (what i mean is it has support for shaders, HD resource packs, custom entity models/animations, etc)

I'd be really interested in knowing how Movement Vision interacts with Hardcore darkness. Would be pretty cool to have a thing where Hardcore Darkness was on, but you could use this vision as a sort of night vision thing.

What if one player (or a group of players) had Hardcore Darkness, and were being hunted by a player that had Movement Vision? That sounds AWSOME.
