As is usual with y'all whenever you bring up Ashlee's SNL incident, you completely forget to also explain why she was lip syncing in the first place. She suffers from acid reflux and it was bad that day. She couldn't perform to the best that she could and initially wanted to cancel but her father refused to allow her to do so. So he made her use the backing track, which by the way a lot of artists use, to prevent the strain on her vocal cords. Interesting how she was villainfied for lip syncing when other artists make their career off of it.
