For all of the metalheads saying these pits are weak, there are different pits for each genre, like metal has circle pits and wall of death, while rap pits have less shoving and more jumping, and if they having fun then whats there to complain

I’m a metalhead and I enjoy rap so I went to a rap concert where a “mosh pit” was enticed and most of it was jumping around, I remember being directly next to it and one guy started shoving as one does in a real mosh pit and a massive fight broke out. These are cool and all, as long as you’re having fun, but no way these people would survive at a metal show. They’re more intense but people aren’t as easily ticked off as when shoved around.

All you Rap fans who say us metalheads shouldnt be salty about your weak pits: we atleast keep attention to the other people in the pit, when someone falls, others pick him up and also the bands care about their fans health, if something happens (like stone sour or linkin park), your rap „pits“ are just ruthless jumping around and if people fall, nobody cares and he dies.

Also you're right, rap concerts do involve a lot of reckless teenagers, but that doesn't mean they wanna see someone die at a concert, they'd help out someone that had fallen just as much as an adult would. This is cute. A buch of kids jumping around. Go to a metal show, yo'll see real moshing. If you leave the pit without a black eye or a bloody nose, that was not a mosh pit.

These aren't Moshpits, metal Moshpits are with contact and running into each other, this is just jumping up and down. And in Metal Moshpits there are rules, I've experienced it in a Moshpit that a man slipped an was on the ground and two men picked him up instantly
