Sugar actually WAS planning to vote Susie out that round too in order to get her ideal F3 of herself Bob and Matty So that win secured 2nd place for her and likely contributed to the legendary Bob win

Hey Peridiam! After seeing that this current season has like 4 lawyers on it an idea for a potential video crossed my mind: a video to analyze which job is most successful at Survivor. For example: 3 different seasons have had cops as winners. One of them is a two time winner. However Val and Tony were voted out 2nd in SJDS and Game Changers respectively and Sarah was the merge vote for Cagayan. How much does that bring the average "placement" down? Another example: Tom and Jeremy are firefighters that won. Jeremy and Wes made it post merge in SJDS and Jeremy went pretty far in WAW. Keith has made final 5 both times he played. Mike in 42 was runner up. So are firefighters better at Survivor than cops? How do firefighters stack up against other common careers like lawyers, models, college students, etc. Idk how exactly it would work but the idea crossed my mind and I thought I'd bring it up

Feel like this analysis is difficult because a lot of times people lie about their occupation. Like does perception or stereotype of a profession impact someone’s chances? If so, then do you count people that lied about their profession, like Gary the humble landscaper or Tony the construction worker

@@freddytang2128 I would count people who lied about their profession. It was part of their strategies after all. Just because they're the same profession doesn't mean they use the same strategy. Lying about your job is a smart thing to do. Even though he lied about being a construction worker, Tony is a cop. So you would count him as part of the cop profession

I was rooting for Joe, but when Keith at his old age was winning pretty crazy challenges, I couldn’t help but love and root for him.

I still feel the "Three Amigos" tribal could have been so much better in trying to splinter that alliance. If Malcom said "I am voting for Phillip, Reynold you vote for Cochrane, Dog Bar you vote for Andrea" that might have actually broke the majority alliance enough to have one of them work their way in.

Yeah but that kinda split risks the majority being able to split the vote on one of their own safely Let’s say that Brenda and Erik both vote Sherri or Phillip after Malcom and Eddie became “safe” suddenly the majority is fine and can hypothetically pick off any bottom feeder

Jesse is in my top 2 favorite players of the post-Covid era and honestly might even be top 1. I was heartbroken when he lost fire making

Jesse was at least able to hack that first tribal immunity challenge and get his tribe the win there. It was arguably clutch too, as given the advantages in play (Noelle's steal a vote and Cody's idol) he would've been toast had Vese gone to the 3rd tribal before the merge.

J.T. was a comp beast in Tocantins. He so deserved to win that season. Sucks he went downhill in the later seasons but still love him as a person. ^^

While I will defend him in HVV. He overplayed but in the best possible way, that I still think was the greatest "If it worked moment" in the show. Instead it lead to quite possibly the greatest moment in all of survivor so still a win. His gameplay in gamechangers is not really defendable. Getting Malcom voted out when that was his closest ally, getting into a petty argument over sugar usage. Blindsided while leaving the idol at camp. Yeah Gamchangers really did destroy anything left of J.T's reputation.

Gotta say Spencer's my favorite Survivor. Such a ridiculous dork going in, had to re-invent himself through the experience, and became a hard-charging competitor in the game. I love Spencer and I'm not even gay.

The crazy thing about the Julia win is that she was at that point between the majority and superidol minority but the only reason things went how they did was because she couldn't be voted out. It's usually when the "them" in Us vs Them wins immunity thar things go to hell but the free pocket vote winning immunity is what fucked up Aubry's side. It's literally like if Edgardo won immunity but also crazier

Seeing Devens in this video made me think, you should do a video on the best Survivor players to never win. Players like Devens, Cirie, Jesse, Christian, players that never made it to final tribal but got close and if they did, probably would have swept the board. I did a quick search and see other youtubers have made those videos but you haven't yet, and I'd love to know your thoughts.

Danni had a huge advantage in that challenge to the point where she almost couldn't lose because of her long legs. It wasn't who could endure more back pain. It was basically who has longer legs. I wouldn't call it clutch when the deck was impossibly stacked against the other competitors.

People are so lame now, they all want to superfan their way out of every survival challenge, seems like times go from 1hr 30 min all the way down to 20 minutes and the final 2 want to make a deal with each other, these challenges are amazing and people only become legends because of what they went through. The best Survivor TIE was the one in Survivor 43 with the underwater cage though. So this isn't me dogging the youth or anything like that. I just mean the standing in one place challenges are wack now. That is my rant lol
