As a lot of you mentioned I misspoke about Zoom Air being in a few models before the 12s, I meant to just say air unit, my bad!

This list is outlandish. Rating the Jordan 3 as an honorable mention, and less comfortable than a Jordan 4 is diabolical and ludicrous

If you're buying Jordan's for comfort, you're buying the wrong shoes. That being said, the three is goated, but I look for more than just "under foot" comfort. Ankle padding on 4s really does it for me too. 7s and 8s with the bootie also amazing

putting the jordan 3 after the 4, let alone 3rd worst on the list is WILD.

11s, 12s and 13s are GOAT'd.

Jordan 3's, 7's and 11's are the most comfortable. 3's are my personal favorites.

I hate to be that guy, but Jordan’s didn’t use zoom air until the Jordan 12. The 11s, 10s, 7s (late retros) all use top loaded air which makes them more comfortable than the 3s or 4s which use encapsulated air units.

Zoom air wasn't introduced until the air Jordan 12...any Jordan before that only has regular encapsulated air.

I just bought the space jam low 11s a few weeks back and I wore them for 6 days straight on my trip to nyc and walked about 6-8 miles a day and not only did they stay clean somehow which was a huge plus, but they did not bother my feet a single bit! I mean I was wearing these suckers for 10-14 hours a day! I was blown away by how comfortable they were. I brought another pair of “comfortable” shoes just in case these were beating my feet up and didn’t have to wear them once. I actually bought 2 pairs cause I like them a lot. And I’ve never been a double up on the same sneaker guy. 10/10 for me

Comfort is definitely subjective. I still think the 3’s are the most comfortable for me in my average every day life. I prefer the more firm cushioning as opposed to the more cushy stuff for everyday wear. Won’t wear them to an amusement park but wear them all the time for work and casually.

2s are easily the most comfortable. The original SB straps and double padded interior is just... * chef kiss *

The 3s are comfortable if you get older pairs. The newer pairs have way less padding and feel stiff. I’ve had multiple pairs of black cements through my life and i got the new white cements on release and it’s crazy how different they feel. My black cements feel way better even now

3s most comfortable for me and most uncomfortable is the 4s

I go a half size up in my 4s and swap out the insoles with Move all day. They become so much more comfortable after doing so, to the point of which I can wear them all day with no problem at all. (I average around 20k steps per day) I also lace them up instead of loose lacing them because after a bit of experimenting, I've found out that loose lacing them leave some room for my feet to slide around a little and it absolutely demolishes my pinky toes cuz it's rubbing against the hard tpu thingy. The only downside that I can't really fix are the ventilation. I just wear them with rather thin ankle running socks to try to maximise the air flow.

I agree. The 12s and 13s are the most comfortable. They also run slightly big so if you want that snug feeling go down half a size

The AJ1 does not have Zoom air. The AJ6 has an air bag in the forefoot. The AJ9, AJ7, AJ11 does not have Zoom air at all. Both the OG AJ13 and AJ12 had a full length Zoom Air bag, the retros have a heel & forefoot Zoom Air bag.

4s are my favorite Jordan hands down but I’d have to say 3s are more comfortable (for me) I was just thinking this the other day when I wore my white cement 3s

The Jordan 5's hands down have the most comfortable tongue imo, and the ankle cushioning is really good on the 5's too. Thought the 1's and 4's were going to be tied for worst, lots of ppl say the 4's feel like you're wearing bricks for shoes

I agree with the list. But here is my top 5 most comfortable air jordans. 1. Jordan 12. Bounciest air sole there is. It's like walking on foam. 2. Jordan 13. Once the shoe molded your foot is really comfy. 3. Jordan 11. It needs break in but once it does it's really comfy. 4. Jordan 14. Same with Jordan 11. 5. Jordan 7. I dont know why but it really does feel comfortable. I'm a wide footer and it feels good on my feet.

I agree with the list overall. I find 3s to be comfortable though. Surprisingly, I gave the Cardinal 7s a run when I went to Disney World (lots of walking and HOT) and they were comfortable all day, multiple days.

And to think the GOAT was able to put up the crazy numbers and championships that he won in these clunkers. Absolutely legendary.

14s being so high on the list makes me so happy, I had a pair from 2005 and it was the most comfortable retro Ive worn, they hold up so well.

I put a pair of molded insoles in my Jordan 1 Lost and Found’s and they are insanely comfortable. The upper and everything is great, it’s just the soul that doesn’t have any support.

Jordan 1s have air on the heel. The jordan 12s are the first to have zoom air. 1 -11 is all air unit.

The 14 is comfy but it's special to me because MJ wore it in game 6 of the 98 finals.

Playoffs have the weakest air units) 2. Elevens (again air upgraded with retro models. Those original joints feel bricky) 1. Threes (I noticed your reimagineds were new. You gotta break those in for two weeks before the magic happens)

You also have to take into consideration that people’s feet are all different, so it’s really subjective to which people find the most comfortable and the least comfortable…for me the 3s are the most comfortable for casual wear and the 13s are the best for hoopin from my experience

People saying the 3’ and the 4s are most comfortable never had 13 or 11s lol. I wore my 11 concords on my paris trip all day walking around for days and never had a problem. I love the 13s 11s 12s 14s are still even nice to play some ball outside.

My rank (based not only in cushion but stepping comfort): 1. 14 (overall cushion experience and REALLY CAN FEEL the forefoot zoom unit, at least in the 2018 LAST SHOT version of the shoe) 2. 13 (nice ride, softer foam/phylon) 3. 11 (better than the 12s because of the heel not being that clunky) and then... 4. 12 (would be higher in the list since the full-length zoom feels so good but I think the 11s has better arch support IMO and also the 12s heel is terrible while running on court) 5. 10 and in the following ones you can barely play ball while enjoying a comfortable cushion but here they are: 6. 8 7. 7 8. 9 and NEVER in my life had to put any of these on my feet, so I dont know about them: 9. 2 10. 5 11. 4 12. 3 13. 6 (I got the black infrared's and yes they are firm and hard as rocks :( 14. 1 (this shoe is basically a high top VANS by Nike lol although I can understand why people love them so much since the great story behind the shoe :) Last but not least, NIKE please, WHY YOU DON'T DO PROTRO VERSIONS OF JORDANS FROM 1 TO 9 ??? I have wide feet so I just change the insoles. The brand Move in particular. I've had my 3's on the whole day and not once did I feel like it was uncomfortable.

I actually think the 1's are fairly comfortable. The 4's are the worst. They feel like they were made to destroy my feet. The 3's are not comfortable but also do not irritate my feet. Your comments on the 5's are spot on. The 2's would be my number one for comfort. Which I find funny that the odd duck Jordan retro is the most comfy.

As someone who actually hooped in all of the shoes, the 10s are/ were hands down the most comfortable. The articulated outsole made running and jumping in it a breeze. The least comfortable are/ were the 11s. The outsole which is narrow and has a button effect on the bottom combined with the poor ankle support, caused me to twist my ankle on multiple occasions. The 8s are second most comfortable, followed by the 6s and 5s.

The Jordan 9 should have been in the top 2, (I haven't had any 14) but the most comfortable are the 13, 12, 9 and 3

For the record: anything before the Jordan 12’s does not have zoom air. The air units in the earlier shoes are just regular air units.

On the 13 the play off pairs seemed to have a foggy gem right at the start To get rid of the foggy hologram gem; just get it hot with a hair dryer

Was wearing my 2's today, I find them to be the most comfortable of the classic jordans. They have nothing on my Air Max 90's though.

Top 3 most comfortable - 13s, 7s and 1s. 13s have the best cushion by far, 7s are light, breathable and the upper holds your feet nicely, and 1s are light and thin with decent cushion. Idk how people say they are the least comfortable. (13s are the best on court)

I always use a custom orthotic for J1 to J6. They are cup soled shoes and need it. When you do use a better quality insole, its night and day. Very comfortable and supportive.

Its wild to me how anyone finds 11s comfy. They are giga stiff especially when not broken in. Only retro that actually gives me blisters

1 & 3 are the most comfortable for me, 5-10 are too bulky, 11 too bulky & stiff and 4 is the worst. But I like the style of the 4 the most.

6 by far my favourite I have a few pairs and find them very comfortable.. I do like the Jordan MVP as they are a mix of the 6,7,8 and are cheaper than the 6

Jordan 3, 4, 7, 10, 12 & 13 are the pairs I am quite comfortable with and I always use the most from my sneaker collection

My first Jordan was the Playoff 13s and out of my 30+ years I was on the same mission in getting most of these retros. Thank you for filling in the gaps on the shoes I haven’t picked up or haven’t worn yet. I’m definitely going to give the 12s a try, it’s been on ice for 2 years.

To me 12s & 13s are the most comfortable. I got flat feet & bad arches but i never tried swapping the insoles so thats a major proponent.

I use all mine in the gym a lot. Think it would vary if u wear casual or performance. 6s pretty good on the treadmill.

Materials matter. Suede pairs are far more comfortable than leather usually even comparing same model. Cool vid

The Reimagine Bred 4s are surprisingly one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn...

Went on a 3 day vacation with the cherry 11 high's. Breathability, lightness, and cushioning stand-point j11 is the most comfortable. Can agree with most of the people with j3's however it is way too heavy for the 11's. J3 - fun to style due to the shoe geometry. Tongue isn't that large as j4 does. J4 / J12 - sneaker convention setting. Loud snkr geometry but easy to style. J1s both high and low - everyday beaters.

I agree the reimagine 3's dont feel very comfortable they took away the padding around the inside of the shoe. The 2018 Jordan black cements and older 3's like the Katrinas feel way more comfortable

TLDR: 11s to 14s are the most comfortable. And correction: Zoom Air did not appear until the 12s, *NOT* the 1s! Plus, the other thing that also affected these models that had a Polyurethane midsole used a different construction as they now use closed-cell Polyurethane which prevents it to compress and reduce crumbling since the retro 4s back in the early 2000s had massive QC issues and started using a stiffer mold. Open-celled Polyurethane was softer and how the originals felt before phylon took over on the 10s.

12 is the correct pick 11 is next and then 9's especially for hooping purposes

I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I started watching this video, but our lists would be remarkably close. I definitely believe the AJ2 and AJ7 are the most comfortable Jordans in the first 9 models by far, and I also would have the 12 #1 with the 13 and 14 also in the top three. I might put the 3 in the top ten and kick out the 9, though.

13s, 3s, 10s and the air jordan 4 SB are comfortable as hell.

What I find especially with the 4's is that they are so massivly different. I have/had 4 different pairs (and colourways) with the same size and obviously same feet and they were so massivly different from the fit. In best case they are the most comfortable for me and in the worst case I only can wear them for a short amount of time.

I totally agree with this list but I will say the most comfortable Jordan I own right now is the 38. It feels so good and plays so well. All my old retros feel more like lifestyle shoes to me. Hard on the bottom.

I was surprised with some of the early placements on this list, but hats off to you for making the list purely off your own findings rather than using popular public opinions. The other thing is some releases will be more comfortable because of the different materials used or if the shape has been reworked, which leads to more diverse experiences. I do find 12s and 13s the best for comfort, but I still need to try the 3s, 11s and 14s.
