ACL surgery is a very successful surgery. Most of the patients do great after an ACL surgery.We have seen that a very few patients do not do as great after their ACL reconstruction surgery. I had an ACL Reconstruction on May 1 this year . I am perfectly fine now and can walk properly. The only thing I’m lacking in is my regular exercises. Listening to you Sir, I’ll work more on it tomorrow onwards as I really wanna build my thigh muscles. Thank You

@@mohamedrashid5517 i’m perfectly fine now. Still cannot perform cardio. But I’m able to walk properly. I would suggest not to skip your regular exercises to build muscles. They have helped me a lot 👍🏻

sir, 10 days after my surgery i felt a broken like pain during physiotherapy . my surgeon told me to see if any swelling occurred which did not and asked me to take painkillers. the pain is like my reconstruction was damaged . is it possible something like graft and implant damage during physiotherapy?

Hello sorry for that, i guess i found my problem myself . its seems muscles are weak after surgery and during physiotherapy we might feel the same as getting hit by a car😂, pain was unbearable but was nothing to be scared about . only by doing the exercise you can get stronger muscles and reduce the pain 👍 its been 2 mnths post acl surgery for me and am doing great

Sir i was in a car accident in april My injuries were 1) collor bone fracture 2) left knee fracture 3) Right ACL tear and Meniscal tear 3rd degree my surgeon stitched the tear back and ACL was completely reconstructed. I was bedridden from 3 months april to july. I did physiotherapy. I am able to walk again but i feel pain in my calf when i stand or walk too long. I am limbing when walking. In morning after waking up my knee is very stiff and pains when i stand up. But after walking a few steps it become less and less painful. Also when i stand after sitting for a long time same problem arises(pain in my knee). Is this all normal effects?

Hello Doctor, I live in Canada and had knee surgery month ago. Swelling is almost gone just 30% left. Is it normal. My knee just bend 30 degree now. I am using CPM machine almost 14-15 hours daily to bend me knee and daily exercise. Visit to a physiotherapist twice a week. Should I be worried. I had screws put in my knee. How long will it take to heal? Doctor said they will take out screws after 5-6 months. How much chances are their of failure knee or stiffness? I am worried.

@@cedricdiggory3718 hey I also had my acl reconstruction last month. It's been 1 month 3 days today. And I can bend my knee 180° completely. I dont know about everything regarding this , but my doc and therapist said that knee should be bend upto 90 degrees in 2 weeks after surgery and 120 deg upto 4 weeks. I guess you really need to go to the therapist. Ans yeah. Your age also matters cuz teens are a bit more flexible as compared to adults and older ppl. Hope it would be a help .

@@jeetendrajoshi4369 Thanks for the reply, I think my knee build up scar tissues inside thats why its so stiff while bending, currently having my therapy also doing it at home, btw my doctor said that i should not bend my knee for 2 weeks after surgery, and by 2-3 weeks time i can only bend it by 30-40 degrees.

@@palvisharma1639 my Dr suggest me that stretch your fingers towards you .. give bit stress to foot.. then try to lift.. it really worked for me. But don't do this without belt. My Dr. Recommended me to do this without belt after 1.5 month from surgery. I hope it would be useful for you.

Sir please 🥺 mujhe tfcc tear hua tha doctor ne arthroscopic successful nhi hua hai abhi dono haddi ke bich koi ligament nahi hai dard hai haddi turn karne main awaz ata hai side ke dono finger ek dum se banad ho jata hai pit gardan main dard hai har time dard hota hai abhi kia karo ..Mumbai sportsmed hospital dr.Deepak bhatiya ne arthroscopic Kia hai Assam Guwahati pratiksha hospital main ate hai abb kia karo please 🥺🥺

Yes brother.......my friend a football players had an acl reconstruction surgery and now he is undergoing his training at OTA .....make sure you do your psychotherapy exercise thoroughly as advised by the doctors....... good luck 👍👍👍

Sir meri 3.5 months pahle ACL surgery hua h but abhi bhi jab mere doctor ACL test karte h knee ko aage khech kar tho waha per laxity h. Doctor bata raha h physiotherapy karne se strong ho jayega. Please sir aapka experience share kare
