The entire game was rigged and bad refereeing decided the outcome. They picked the most controversial call in that game which was when time was added back on the clock. A call that sticks out in the Lakers-Kings game was when Kobe elbowed Mike Bibby in the face in the finals moments and there was no call while Bibby was on the ground bleeding.

Again, as they mentioned, they weren't ranked for how bad they were, they were ranked by the importance of the game. That play happened in week 3 of the season. Had it been a playoff game or a late season moment that decided the champion then maybe, but if you remember the packers won the division that year anyway so the game wasn't really that important at all.
