I went on “the leap of faith” (the shark 🦈 one) when I was 8 when it first opened and then went again as a 25 year old. I almost didn’t go as an adult, but the guy running the ride talked me into it. Still happy I did it! 😊

I did the leap of faith. It was fun. They have a guy with no cage go in the lagoon every day to clean.

I remember when I was 7 and I was at Typhoon Lagoon in Kissimmee Florida. I was so close on going on one of the tallest water slides there , but as soon as I got to the top my mom came and got me and told me I was not going on the slide at all. I'm so glad she did that because I would have been a goner if she didn't. I know I would have passed away as soon as I slid down the first half.

I live in jersey and have been to action park numerous times. I used to go there every year for my birthday for 10 yrs straight and multiple times before that. It is without a doubt the best water park I have ever been to and I've been to a lot bc I'm old. That cannonball falls ride is actually really fun, you shoot out into a pool. The slide that made #1 was shut down when I was a kid and I was too young to ride it. My parents would never let us anyway bc of the stories surrounding it and I think some1 did die on it but not 100% sure but something bad enough to get it shut down for good. The park is known here for bein dangerous but it's fun as hell and I'm not even a daredevil type person. But they tried to trick everyone and shut action park down but really they just renamed it but cannonball falls is still there. It's a water park on the side of a mountain, it's all mountain water they use. I think they renamed it mountain creek. If you come to jersey, you have to make a day for action park or mountain creek. You won't regret it.

I actually went on the black hole in Orlando, FL and can say it was extremely exciting and scary. You couldn't see anything in it until you got closer to the bottom. My sister and I went on it multiple times for the adrenaline rush.

I remember watching them build the slide in Kansas City. You could tell just by driving by it before it even opened that shit wasn’t safe. With the most basic knowledge of physics you could see that you would get WAY too much air, even in the raft. Which is what happened. The raft caught air and the boy was decapitated by the metal pole and netting there to keep the riders from falling out. The boys dad was a state representative from my hometown. It was awful. The ride should have never been allowed to be opened.

Commenting at the beginning of this video. Wondering if the Worlds Tallest Waterslide is on here. It was called, 'Verrückt' and was located at the Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City, Kansas. (Born and raised in Missouri, so this one was close to home.) I knew when they were building it that it was a TERRIBLE idea. Watching the 'test runs' were horrifying. Speeds up to 70mph. (And this is coming from someone who LOVES rollercoasters! However I do agree with you, Dre. I need a overhead safety apparatus. Not a fucking nylon seat belt. 🤯 ) Things were 'fine' until August 7, 2016, when the raft that 10 year old Caleb Schwab was riding went airborne and hit a metal pole supporting a safety net, resulting in his decapitation and instant death. He was there with his family, on 'Elected Officials Day' due to his father being a Kansas State Rep. Henry and Schooley were ultimately indicted on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated endangerment of a child, interference with law enforcement, and involuntary manslaughter. Henry faced a charge of second-degree murder. In February 2019, a judge dismissed the charges against Henry and Schooley. In 2017, Caleb’s family received a settlement of nearly $20 million from Schlitterbahn and other companies involved in the slide. It was SO tragic and thankfully, they have demolished Verrückt and closed the Kansas Schlitterbahn waterpark. Here's some info if you'd like to read about it and see some videos of Verrückt. The test videos make you wonder why in the FUCK they ever thought this ride was a good idea and absolutely rushed the project. I went on one at Aqua Boulevard in Paris. It felt almost vertical, I love rides but I swear to the Lord I’ll never go on another water slide. My entire spirit levitated outside of my body during the vertical section of the slide. No, never, nada, pas pour moi!!! 🙈

The 10 yr old boy who died on that german water slide he was too small/skinny so when he dropped he lifted up from the boat and flew off hitting the net and poles of the slide..he got decapitated..i read about it was so sad...they were not suppose to let him go on it when they knew he was too small..his brother witnessed it all..traumatizing

On #2 the little boy was in the middle of two older women and as soon as it went off the raft went airborne and he hit a metal pole connecting to the "safety net" and literally decapitated him as the other person said in the comments and gave the other women jaw fractures and other injuries. They didn't destroy the rude until this year 4 years after it happened. What's worse was that an investigator a week before the ride opened tested it out and said that the rafts would occasionally go airborne but Schlitterbahn never told anyone about that report.

Sadly, wet n wild is not in Orlando anymore. I don’t remember what they put in it’s place, I think another water park. But I remember seeing the black hole ride before the park was closed. I was like....hell no. No sir. One I do t like dark places and two....too many of their slides have had problems as you heard in the video.

I’ve been in the steamer slide so many times i can’t count it i never got injured but i saw someone who did get injured but i never thought so many people where getting injured now i know why it’s closed still was a great slide tho

I went to wet n wild when I was like 10 and there was a slide called commander stuka it’s similar to the first slide. Sign said you had to be at least 100 lbs which I was like 80 something but the worker said I was okay. I literally went airborne and flipped onto my stomach/face and then I flipped again and ended up coming down the slide head first(upside down). Everyone in the park was watching to see if I was hurt but apparently I stood up and wanted to go again 🤣💀
