Having breastfed my younger child, I can't say I ever actually objected if someone noticed that I was doing it, or if they made a point to ignore it. It's the people who just sit and stare at you who creep me out.

She's not adorable when it comes to her being ignorant. She clearly doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to the myth surrounding the gender pay gap. It's officially been illegal since 1970 for god sake, and yet we hear feminists and supporters wittering on about it. It's not helped either by how facts are misrepresented by the media to sell stories. Women on average earn less than men over their lifetime, but this isn't the same as women earning less for doing the sae job as men. You have to take in to account the type of work they are doing, whether they're working full/part time and the choices they make in regards to family and their careers. I'm sure Miss Willoughby gets paid more than say, a TV show host of a local district TV station like as she has a a higher market value and is more popular with the public. And let's look at CEO's of major companies. The majority of which are 50 something's that came from a generation were there were less women in such roles, and are therefore more of a reflection of the past rather than the present. You also have to take in to account the overall kind of jobs that women apply that as opposed to men. 77% of NHS nurses are women while those working as Doctor's, surgeons etc. is 45%. There's the equality of opportunities in the working world but not necessarily the equality of outcome. I could go further but I don't want to ramble on too long. Needless to say Miss Willoughby sometimes needs to do a bit of research before talking about something she clearly knows little or anything about.

I suppose it depends on whether it's a 2 way street. What you described there is a really healthy way of working together. My partner and I do the same thing, we check with each other about whether something is feasible or sensible, we compromise. But if it's just one person asking another one for permission then it makes a fairly unequal relationship. If it works for them and they're happy with it then fine, who am I to judge ? But personally id be uncomfortable with that kind of power dynamic.

We are the same, our money goes into a joint account, even though the hubs does bring in more, it's always been shared. I know people who keep everything separate and if the borrow money they pay it back to each other. I couldn't imagine being like that.

in some areas, me (female) and another male was employed in the same job doing the same thing we was both the same age as well (i’m born in july and he’s born in march 2000) and he was paid £200 more than me and when questioned to the payroll head which was a male he turned round n said the man had more experiences alothough when worked out i had more

Men and women in the same employment performing equal work must receive equal pay, unless any difference in pay can be justified. Ultimately you may be in some way to blame if you did nothing about it, although the majority of it has to towards your employers. The Gender Pay Gap is a myth, and if any woman is being unfairly discriminated against it's on them to do something about it.
