Dolma also applies to Turkish and Greek stuffed leaves or peppers. No specific nation can really claim to be the origin; this type of food (and meat roasted on skewers) has been around in that general geographic region since beyond antiquity. The simplicity of its preparation, using skewers over open flame or using leaves and peppers as the cooking vessels, is the reason that our prehistoric ancestors would have developed such cuisine long before there were any borders or national identities.

No."Dolma"is Azerbaijan word.İt means filling the inside of leaf.

I'm from South East Asia (ASEAN Community), i found Azerbaijan RICE-GRAIN is so Big, nearly TWICE the length of our grains, here (6- 7 mm.), Azer's grain is, says, 12- 13 mm.
