Absolutely LOVE this INFORMATIVE info vid, perfectly done with precise product info especially great for those of us who are new/learning and haven't gone to any classes and would like to have a shopping list to get started with ... I have a lot of "stuff" that I do have fun with but this really summed up what I really NEED - no more trial and error shopping for me, yes it's fun and useful too but gets expensive when it's not what I was really looking for. Thanks for this great vid !!

Hi I am a beginner card maker with an extreme hand tremor… I swear by the stamping platform… I can now be “creative” because of it 😀😀😀

Yes yes on the Neenah! Btw, Neenah has many lines so suggest Classic Crest (not Exact Index, which is lower quality and sold in office supply stores. People buy it and wonder why they’re not getting good results.) Love your videos, thanks!

Thanks Laurel for keeping things real and genuine! I adore your banter ! I am guilty of it too !😆 I especially like all the stamp sets you highlighted. Needless to say my wish list just got longer!!!😅Have a Great Week! (Cause Mondays are one heck of a way to spend one seventh of ones' life!😆)

I have probably at least 10 of everything you need (and more) and 100’s of things I probably will never use. I see something and I have to have it, then it sits there and I don’t use it lol I am a craft collector😂😂😂 I love this video😍

I totally agree with your choices, Laurel! And I learned something here--I didn't realize the Martha Stewart scoring board was still available. I had heard that it had been discontinued, though We R Memory Keepers had a similar one now. I have the large MS one, and love it! Use it all the time, especially for scoring card bases. Thanks for sharing these items, and have a great day! :)

I am catching up on your very helpful and fun videos. On your list of must-haves, would you say a sheet of glass or acrylic would be a good everyday crafting surface, easy to clean? I have wondered about that.

Don't forget the baby wipes. I was using Dollar Tree wipes but for a few extra dollars I buy the Kirkland brand. Buy a case when it goes on sale. Your hands will thank you.

I personally don't agree with the acrilic blocks or the bone folder once you have a stamp positioner the block's are a waste same with the folder theirs not evough of a difference between it & the one that comes with a score bird & they are way to expensive
@bunnylands9162 жыл бұрын
I put a piece of scrap paper over my cardstock before burnishing a fold, which prevents the shine I'd get if I used my plastic bone folder directly on the cardstock. I can't justify spending $20+ just for the convenience of not having to do that. If there's some other big advantage to using a teflon bone folder, I might think about saving up for one, but so far "no shine" seems to be the only selling point.(Maybe teflon bone folders are more durable, but my plastic one is a hand-me-down that's at least 20 years old and it's in perfectly good condition despite the number of times I've dropped it.)
