@@yumihara14 nah it just wouldn't be natural to start with the 3rd installment if you start with the 1st entry you will be well established if you continue to play the games & when u eventually get to the 3rd after playing Definitive Edition Xenoblade 2 & Xenoblade 2 torna as well as Future Connected after that you can play Xenoblade 3 so many References and call backs to the previous titles that you won't miss & Future Redeemed DLC is basically icing on the cake anyone who played XC1 & XC2 full of great fan service.

@@yumihara14 You can, but I'd really suggest starting from DE and 2 so you actually know some things going in when playing 3.

I actually started with 3 and the main story is completely understandable without 1 or 2. In fact, it was 3 that got me hooked into the series. I will have to say though, compared to 3, mechanics of definitive edition base game feel a bit clunky

While I do agree, I enjoyed Three Houses quite a bit more, I also understand why 3d world is over it for the list. Hits the nail on the head for a larger audience, more casual players will get a better experience out of a Mario title

And by A to B to C I don't mean it's linear, because it's far from it. A, B or C can be anything. There's a thousand solutions to every problem. But the thing is, in BotW everything feels logical. TotK lacks this sense of logic. It feels rather like some mad experiment. It might be good for psychofans, but I really recommend, if you want to play one of those and you can't make your decision, just play BotW. Honestly.

It didn't catch my attention so I don't gonna force myself to play a game if I don't like it and, to be honnest, it start to feel so borring to always see Nintendo release one Pokemon game or 2 by Gamefreak/Pokemon Compagny, one Kirby game and one Fire Emblem game per years in a Call of Duty style as a cash grab game that we have more than 10 Pokemon games arround, 6 Kirby games and 5 Fire Emblem games on the Switch just like somes old Mario game from previous consoles like Paper Mario TTYD from GCN to the Switch and Luigi's Mansion 2 from 3DS to the Switch since 6 years while we don't have any new Star Fox and Kid Icarus game since 6 years, just 2 Metroid game since 6 years, only one new Pikmin game while the 3 others was port from previous consoles, just one SNES Rom Hack from F-Zero to the Switch with 99 players instead made a new modern 3D and HD game and Donkey Kong and Mario Kart never able to get threir own true new fresh game on the Switch without be a Wii U port or a GBA remake about Maio Vs DK that we have played in the past. So I don't really see what wrong to prefer play more true good quality video game than cash grab video game for sheep who are release every years instead be various despite it can end up to be a bad game. Let's take for example about how Pokemon Scarlet was so hated by the community for the graphics, story, glitch and lags or about the hate on Fire Emblem Engage for the story too much kiddo than adult or the ugly characters design that the Fire Emblem fans explain the only thing who save the game from his pathetic bad state is the battle gameplay. Ah and of course I don't forget the hated on Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe about the ugly Dedede face that people already complaint in Forgotten Land and about the ugly line arround the characters despite the background don't have in levels or the lack of new upgrade gameplay and I don't talk about Magolor side story or the mini game but I talk more about a lack of playable characters on the Switch version like those from Star Allies from the several update with familiar face like Dark Meta Knight, Taranza, Susie and others Kirby pals and the lack of a AI ally being back for the game because the only thing I see is just players play together but no one play alone with just bots so it a pretty bad remake than the Wii version (A Wii version that I still have it and I can play it on my Wii U and who is more better than the deffective remake)

So you include 3 Mario games, one of which is a remake, which are released far more frequently than Kirby ever has been, and your reason for not including Kirby is that it's an annual cash grab... get your facts right@@FalcoLombardiZeroKnight

@@jacksnell8875 I don't count remake game since I talk about lazy port from previous console about Mario who have too much port on Switch like Mario Kart 8 from the Wii U to the Switch with just more stuff for the fan service or Luigi's Mansion 2 from 3DS with just a HD retouch or TTYD with just enhanced graphics despite we know the story. However for Mario RPG it's a 3D game remake based on a 2D sprites game so it mean more work for redo everything in 3D for the model, the world and with somes better 3D cutscenes with the fact that the original game wasn't release everywhere arround the world, include my own country as well with a lot of people from my country who wasn't able to play it so did it mean it forbidden to play it for the first time? Also you mistake because I don't like Forgotten Land not because Kirby become a cash grab video game serie release every years but I see several stuff inside those trailer and the gameplay that I didn't like it unlike Star Allies but you have not wrong to say Kirby is become a cash grab game just like Pokemon and Fire Emblem by be release every years just for the money instead we see somes others true Nintendo game who don't have much or nothing so you can't really force any people to like your own game like Forgotten Land if they don't gonna like the game after see trailer and gameplay. The witcher 3,skyrim, Mario odissey

Elden Ring is the next best thing that comes closest to catching the feeling of those games. Much more difficult of course but it’s got that huge sandbox “if you see it, you can go there” gameplay. The Witcher 3 is an incredibly well fleshed out open world RPG as well, even though it’s more focused on narrative and characters, the story telling and voice acting + dialogue etc is so damn good you’ll probably enjoy it even if you don’t usually care about that. Dragons Dogma 2 is also worth mentioning, the gameplay is a little different yes but still very similar overall in terms of RPG and the open world is completely seamless like Zelda just giving you a big ass sandbox to discover things, not quite as big though

@@shaunkennedy174 Just finished DD:DA DLC hard mode, fell inlove with the game mechanics and also the pawn system. It's like you have a real companion. Might try The Witcher 3, thanks for the suggestions.
