Netflix should reconsider and try not to cancel The Punisher show. The Punisher cannot be watered down into a family friendly PG-13 rating on Disney streaming.

Let’s hope they don’t...for their sakes. If they cancel The Punisher plus the recent fee hike, people will go elsewhere for their programs. Hulu And Amazon Prime are just as good.

The alternative is to continue paying money to promote their top competitor's brand. I love the Punisher series too, but if I were in their shoes I'd probably make the same call and cancel it. They really don't have any other choice in the matter.

Captain_Deception Sorry Captain.. Disney Is canceling all Marvel Netflix shows, because they don't want Dark & Gritty they want PG-13 for eternity. They were suppose to bring 3 more Marvel Shows to Netflix, it was gonna be Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, & Blade How Awesome Is That, Until Disney Pull The Plug Before They Had A Release Date... 😢😢😢 Guess I'm starting to Hate Disney, Sony, & I'm not sure about Fox they sold the Rights to Disney... Punisher MAX is probably the best adult comic book series published in the past 25 years. There is no holding back, it is bloody, it is gritty, it is very dark, but this is Frank at his best. This is why it is one of my favorite comic book series of all time, besides "Fury: My War Gone By".

Apparently you''re not old enough to remember when the Punisher had three titles and guest-starred in almost every Marvel comic. At one point, the character was vastly overrated. Captain America goes undercover and cross-country to track the Scourge, who's killing super-villains but teams up with the Punisher? Spider-Man is outraged at Solo, who kills terrorists, and vows to shut him down, but he can only ask the Punisher to use non-lethal force? Oh, that all-important Marvel continuity.

I wish the punisher game for the ps2 had its sequel. It followed the story from the Ennis comics. It ended with a battle against jigsaw using an ironman suit and teased us all with a kingpin fight we never got to see.

Interesting thing about Valley Forge Valley Forge. The Punisher creator has something against law enforcement wearing the skull. Frank's soft spot for fellow military personnel is a part of his character.

The Long Cold Dark. Barracuda kidnaps the daughter Frank didn't know he had. He doesn't take it well... After having his balls hooked up to the starter of a car for 45 minutes, his eventual death was probably a relief.

They are shifting the shows over to disney services. Same with Daredevil. The shows will be back on the Disney Streaming services. Netflix was losing the rights to the characters. Don't panic

All these are great, but there are four that need at least honorable mentions: The one off "Do not fall in New York City", "Streets Of Laredo", the gut punch follow-up to "In The Beginning" called "Up Is Down and Black Is White", and "Kitchen Irish".

Punisher war journal #4 should be an honorable mention. Castle`s squad members are all getting killed and it seems one of them is the assassin. The punisher has to find out who is before he gets killed.

The Punisher in Child's Play. Is done with the help of the Comics Code Authority. It doest have to be violent or bloody to work. The comic story, blends in the strong pg-13 rating.

Careful. If you wanna read the MAX series, it's nothing like the show when it comes to characterization. I don't mean that in a negative way, I'm just saying both versions are different. The show focused on a more human version of Frank and explored his rage while with MAX, it feels like you're exploring the mind of a serial killer. I got my dad into MAX and he didn't like as much as the series.

My favorite Punisher run is the Mike Baron/Whilce Portacio run, and my favorite Punisher stories are probably "The Wall Street Slasher"(?), "Circle of Blood" (four words: Sweet and Sour Draino), and, while I can't remember the title, I think it was an issue by Mike Baron and Bill Reinhold with a cover where the Punisher is shooting in front of a flag, and Castle encounters a rapper and lectures him on the principles of music. Also, the first story arc of the John Ostrander/Tom Lyle run, where Castle's execution is faked and he's put at the head of a crime family. I'm clearly not as into the Punisher as the people at WatchMojo. My biggest problem with the Punisher can be summed up in a scene from one of Erik Larsen's Spider-Man issues in which the Punisher is shooting and Spider-Man is "hoping" Castle is using rubber bullets, as if that were all anyone who could knock over a building could do to stop a fanatic with a gun.

The ending of Punisher Platoon.... Fucking sad and perfect last panel... SPOILERS Yes, Frank did have a last chance to change. That wave that no one saw said enough. The best thing about Punisher MAX is that you could remove the whole punisher aspect completely and it would still be the same character analysis.

The Magnum Opus of The Punisher- the Punisher story that should've been no. 1 on this list- is Ennis' Up is Down Black is White. It's considered to be the very essence of the Punisher. It's a masterpiece.

It has nothing to do with Frank Castle as the Punisher. It's technically not even an origin story. It's the prologue to the origin story.

I honestly hated the Platoon. There's almost no chracter development. Frank arrives in Vietnam as the same taciturn badass motherfucker we already knew. Plus, the art was terrible. Goran Parlov's art could not be more at odds with the subject matter of the plot.
