Watchmojo could have included the Man of the Hole who lived in the Amazon rainforest. He was the last surviving person of an uncontacted tribe in the Amazon. He died in 2022 due to natural causes. His culture, his language, his identity are forever a mystery.

The Somerton Man being identified as Charles Webb is not “official”, but the investigation was so thorough and meticulous I would be very surprised to find out it isn’t accurate.

If they are able to or haven’t already, they should run hi dna through 23 and me or some other dna data base like that. If ran through all of them there is bound to be a hit.

My guess is the Jerome dude had some mental conditions, and from what I know of those times, mentally ill people were NOT treated well. I am guessing he was amputated so he could not swim, and then thrown overboard off a boat. I imagine it was never intended for him to survive.
