wakapachi Most people hated the Black and Red Nightwing costume. It wasn't bad, but Nightwing was always Black and Blue and that was what people were use to. Take that as you will. Also you do know that its kinda sad when you upvote your own comment right?

The New 52 kind of ruined somethings. Nightwing's costume, certain origin stories and not to mention, *they ruined Martian Manhunter*. Sigh. I am hopeful that Rebirth fixes these things though. :)

Nope, he doesn't need to become Batman, he's differente and he doesn't like that roll at all, at it was said he is a sidekick no more, he should evolve as Nightwing.

Grayson's long and complicated relationship with Koriand'r (Starfire). I've always been a fan of this pairing, regardless of the media/universe.

The best superhero. That being said, I find it a little insulting that the "#1" moment is his origin. I mean it's great, but the character's gone through so much better after it. If Superman and Batman's #1 moments aren't their origins, then neither should Nightwing's.

SwagPatrol Alpha But Batman's explains everything about him and shows more of who he is. Nightwing is such an interesting and complex character that his origin is only a story by today's standards. The origin is only the beginning; all the best stuff happens afterwards.

Denise F You make a good point. I guess that having a non-permanent change from the ordinary is quite nice sometimes. And yes, we should wait. Things will go back to normal for a lot of things. Some people did not disapproved of Superman's relationship with Wonder Woman during the New 52, but it did change in Rebirth, as his Pre-New 52 version comes back, where he is married to Lois Lane and has a son. I am hyped for the new Rebirth one-shot special comic for Nightwing though. It comes out tomorrow! :)

I loved it but I would have included Battle for the Cowl and Batman : Reborn. They really highlight Nightwing´s ability to keep it together when it all falls apart.

my fave moments were he became batman, nightwing beating jason for the cowl, the time where he beat midnighter, the black mirror story arc and convergence, where e-2 grayson conviced telos to help them beat brainaic (seriously, that guy could befriend everyone)

I think my favourite moment is a tongue and cheek thing where the imply he's well endowed. He has to change quickly in the shower to keep his identity secret from Black Canary when she pops in on Oracle (he spent the night). Dinah walks in on him thinking its Barbara and he has to cover his parts. I believe the line in the thought bubble reads. "Way to go Grayson you almost gave up two of your biggest secrets!" The entire Shrike arc of Nightwing where Barbara and Dinah come to save him is amazing actually.

The part where he rips off Shrike's gauntlet and breaks the chain around Dinah's neck with no time to spare was intense.

My favorite character of all time, hands down. One of his best moments though was the Judas Contract + Lost Year and a Lonely Place of Dying. Oh- and Battle for the Cowl, whoops, almost forgot!

Notice how most of those moments come from the Dixon/Mc Daniel run ? I'd love it so much if DC Animation would make a movie out of those episodes. Imagine a Knight in Blüdhaven/Rough Justice film, based on the 15 first issues of the 96's series, with guests like Batman, Robin, Scarecrow, etc ... (sigh)
