You did an excellent job on this, Kevin. I was in St. George on New Year’s in 1989 when the Quail Creek dike failed. It was crazy to be evacuated. You hit on some beautiful areas. When you have the chance, check out Central Utah from Fairview Canyon down to Boulder Mountain. Even with these 10 amazing spots, you haven’t exert scratched the surface of the beauty that exists here. Those of us who live here are fortunate. Well done, Kevin.

Deer Creek Reservoir is amazing, it’s near Sunset and it looks like the Alps! If you’re into kite surfing, kayaking, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, mountain biking and alpine vibes, you’re gonna love this area!

4:17 Can confirm, Sand Hollow is AMAZING! There's a fun little cliff jumping area there as well. But be warned - if you swim in the shallow sandy areas you will likely get swimmer's itch, and it is beyond miserable. Stick to the rocky shores where it gets deep quickly and you'll be just fine.

Yes, agree 2000%. Utah does not disappoint no matter where you go. Been to a couple of your sites and very amazed having them practically to ourselves. Didn't realize till later everyone only knows about the National's.

I would STRONGLY recommend checking out Dinosaur National Monument, Red Fleet, Flaming Gorge Resovoir, 9 Mile Canyon, and the High Uintahs In northeastern Utah. Incredible locations with strong contrasts between high mountain and desert formations. Fantasy canyon there is intriguing as well. Duchesne and Uintah Counties are secret gems in Utah for sure.

The white rock is the deposition of the Mt. Carmel formation. The red rock is an earlier deposition called the Navajo formation. Both deposited back as Lake Bonneville covered most of Utah and the Southwest

I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania but have traveled to Utah at least 8 times. The drive from Bryce Canyon to Torrey Utah is amazing! A place not many know about is the Moki Dugway and Gooseneck State Park.

Love living here in UT. Don't forget that Monument Valley is on the Navajo Nation and subject to tribal law. Have fun in our cool State please be respectful.

Wow Kevin! We were in Yellowstone NP, Wyoming first week of October this year and drove to Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef NP, Canyonland, Arches NP and Bonneville Salt Flat. I will 100% agree with you about Utah been the coolest place in the States and boy I love it! We have planned to return back to Utah again, because we didn’t get to do a whole lot. I do wish to go to Zion, but is too crowded and a bit complicated with tickets. I’m thankful to you for pointing out some places you just mentioned in this vlog. COVID-19 has left me no choice this year to explore my own backyard instead of international destinations. I also went to Page Arizona last week of October and hiked The Chain Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Mexican Hat, Monument Valley, running Forest Gump road, Four Corners Monument, which was closed do to COVID. We had an opportunity to hike Toatstool Hoodoos, Grand Canyon northern rim and finally Hoover Dam. Utah and also Page Arizona are epic places to visit. I need to go back for Antelope Canyon, Waterhole Canyon, Rainbow Bridge National Monument and hope to get the permit to visit Coyote Buttes. Amazing! I just subscribe to your page and hope to pickup some tips and ideas to places that I haven’t traveled yet. I just turned 44 yrs and I’m a full time employee who loves traveling. So far my eyes has seen 57 countries including where I lived as well. For my birthday I took long weekend and drove to New Hampshire and Vermont and I loved it too. I went to Franconia Notch NP, Flume Gorge, Avalanche Falls, Liberty Gorge, Cascade and The Pool. After all that I made my way to White Mountain National Forest and hiked to Sabbaday Falls and Glen Ellis Falls. Next day I visited Quechee Gorge in Vermont, Montpellier, Middlebury Falls, Manchester and Bennington Battle Monument before headed back home to New Jersey. Nature is so much beautiful, peaceful and relaxing mind away from the crazy busy city life. My plan for my 2nd biggest dream is to travel to Antarctica which I’m thinking January or December of 2022. Keep on with your beautiful experience and sharing it with us, it keeps me more motivated when I come to know of people with the same interests like me. With my mediocre photography skill I can learn some what from you as well. Thanks again for your wonderful work.

Kevin. Thanks for the tips. I'll be coming over into south central Utah from Great Basin National Park to Goblin Valley. Have you ever visited Valley of the Gods? It's 166 miles south of Goblin Valley. Just as majestic as Monument Valley (only 30-40 miles south), on BLM land and rarely visited. Will research Badlands as I do a lot of photography as well as with drones. Thanks, Semper Fly Dave.

Fun fact, I grew up here in southern Utah, quail creek(we call it lake) and sand hollow are literally less than 10 minutes from where I live. Both are man made reservoirs, both made to what they are now in the last 35 years. We used to go out to the dunes to party before sand hollow became a lake, broke my heart. You should have gone to red cliffs, gorgeous place.

Glad you said hurricane the right way. Sand hollow also has some awesome dunes to do some offroading with some great cliff views nearby you can drive to.

Around 1979, my wife and I drove to Goblin Valley. We were the only ones there, which gave it even more of a feeling of solitude. But as the sun went down, and the Goblin shadows got longer and longer, creeping and reaching towards us, we began to feel uneasy. It was freaking spooky. We got a little scared in the empty and darkening landscape, and left with goosebumbs on our entire body just as dusk was ending. No idea why we felt that way, we're not at all superstitious. It was just a very spooky feeling as night began to fall.

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about northern Utah when talking about amazing camping in Utah? I honestly prefer it to Southern Utah. Beautiful forests, amazing hikes, wildlife, and solitude.

On the one hand, I’m glad people are appreciating Utah. On the other hand, I’m annoyed that all these spots are being given away. Too many people coming in and ruining old favorites. At least Kanarraville has a max amount of people they let in each day.

Thanks for posting this. While I've seen video footage from some of these places, they were always from the ground-hiking, drive throughs, etc. Your drone footage took it to a whole new level. From the ground, you don't get the total awesomeness of these places. I've seen a hike up to the first ladder in Kanarra Falls but never any footage past it. I never even knew there was a second ladder. I'd have a real issue climbing even one of them if they both look like that. I've seen a drive through of Snow Canyon and a hike up one of the side canyons, but this is the first I have heard of there being a volcano there. That's pretty cool. Can you hike up to the top of it? I've seen several videos and lots of photos of Dead Horse Point but had no idea of the massiveness of the canyon lands around it. Your drone footage certainly gives it a certain resemblance to the Grand Canyon, for sure. And I've never seen Bonneville Salt Flats with water on it like that, although I've driven past them numerous times. That's where all the land speed records are set and you can bet there's no water when present when they do that. I just can't say enough about the drone footage. That was the crème de la crème of the video. In fact, that's what MAKES the video for me. I'll be watching your top 20 places in Utah next. Hurricane, by the way, is pronounced "Her (accented syllable) - uh - cn" (yes, the "c" and "n" are run together and the whole of it is pronounced very fast).

Snow Canyon, Sand Hollow, Dead Horse Point, Coral Pink Sand Dunes and Goblin Valley are all Utah state parks (entrance fees). Monument Valley is part of the Navajo Nation park system. I wanted to point this out since it was noted that places are not national parks.
