For public courses, I like Tijeras Creek, Black Gold and Arroyo Trabuco-putting El Dorado on this list makes this list null. El Dorado is probably not in the top 50.

El Dorado would not make my top 25 list. Goose Creek and Oak Quarry are so much better! Agree that Trump National should be on there and add The Journey at Pechanga to the list.

Big rec. is way better than El Dorado. The 2 PGA courses in Beaumont - Legends and Champions were great prior to the Indians taking them over.

Can't see a top 10 of public courses...as value...without Sandpiper, in SB. Pebble is public too I guess, at around $1k.
