@@moonshinegaming Nah. Barely. I just focused on the games that weren't as easily accessible in the U.S. Yeah my Albert Odyssey is U.S as well as Bomberman and Guardian Heroes among others. But my Keio Flying Squadron 2 is Pal. Even if you could afford a disc only version now as it's hell expensive, the weird thing is its hard to even find one on sale. My most prized Saturn games are mostly Japan only releases as they were doing shit right over there. Game Paradise C.I.B. with a VHS tape is my most prized Saturn game. I love my 2D shmups horizontal, vertical and isometric. Saturn was boss when it came to that.

Shmups are probably my 2nd or 3rd favourite genre. Japans definitely knows how to make a damn good shmup

Some of the companies no longer exist. Others are licensing fee. Source code and work are gone forever. There are 2 options to play them. Well 3. 1. Buy the original. $$$ would be pricy. Or buy a Japanese version. 2. Emulation. 3. Burn the ISO.

So sad to think of how much code has probably been lost over the years after companies disband 😞

So with the Saturn it was a combination of the system not doing so well, so low sales, and a few of the games on this list were released late in the systems life so low release numbers on top of an already struggling system. The last game in particular was a mail in order game so it’s pretty rare, the only way to get it was to order it from the website, so very low print runs!

@@moonshinegaming thats good. Can you add that kind of analysis into the video? It felt like you read prices off of pricecharting or something and kinda left it at that with some gameplay footage. IDK maybe im being unfair, ill check some more of your content.

I try and keep my videos under 20 minutes with brief reviews on each game while giving the average prices across price charting, GAMEYE, and sold ebay listings. In this video I did go into detail a bit on the last game explaining it was online ordering only, and that’s the reason it being so rare. Going in depth for every game as to why they are rare AND reviewing it would turn a 15 minute video into a 25-30 minute video. I appreciate the constructive criticism though, cheers.

You could play through emulation! RetroArch would work if you plan on playing on PC 👌

If you want to play on original hardware then I highly recommend getting an ODE (optical disc emulator) such as the Fenrir, Satiator or MODE.

No big deal, still worth great money complete! Games are meant to be played anyways 🔥🔥 have you beaten it?
