In my town back in the '70s there was a guy that had taken a four-door 57 and he chopped and channeled it and he made the most mini 57 Chevy that you could image.

Look at the torque twisting the Rat Rod before the Nomad....the backdrop of what I guess is Detroit suits perfectly....post apocalyptic....salvaging the detritus of Detroit... very cool.

These beasts of hark back to the early days of Hot Rodding...even as early as before the Second World War...Ed Iskenderian modified a 1923 T- Bucket with a Ford Flathead V8 while he was apparently still in High School....and got over 130 miles per hour at Bonneville....the year was 1939. Those people were resourceful...and the drop tank stuff with Flat Head engines.

We used to have a lot of different contraptions running the streets any where from 66 mustang 2+2 oo a early bronco frame sitting on huge tall swampers ,,all the way to a wild wheel standing 57 Chevy 4 Dr wagon that was chopped & channeled down to a mini 57 two Dr. These were daily drivers . Some of us had tail light cut out switch's & much more??

Not sure why but I like cab forward vehicals. They take a bit to get used to steering but I like weird stuff. Right hand drive and standard transmission is fun too. My wife's car is a 6 speed manual Ford Focus. Last year it was available off the showroom floor. She loves it and happy I could afford to get her a new one that's fun and practical.
