This show was so criminally underrated, and deserved so much better. These two characters were especially well-written, and the emotional core of the series. I know we’ll likely never get a season 2, but hey, live in hope.

Cool. Though at first I thought he might also fit either the Indigo Tribe since most of them started out as either criminals or psycho/sociopaths, or even the Star Sapphires since they're entirely based around love.

I remember watching this and it broke my heart when Razer said she was just a machine and he could never love her. Despite being one of the universe’s greatest artificial intelligences and supercomputers, she couldn’t even process her own heartbreak.

Guys, Razer came back in Young Justice Season 4 Episode 19. And yes, it's the same Razer. In the episode he becomes a fusion of Red and Blue Lantern. How cool is that?!?

I found something out about red lanterns that's a little heartbreaking. When a red lantern rings finds an owner, the owners heart stops immediately and the ring itself keeps the owner alive for the remainder of the owners life

Unfortunately, they seemed to drop that in the show :( I know Hal removes his ring once, and Razer removes his own ring in the prison after saving them. He should have gone into cardiac arrest during those moments. But I _wish_ they kept that detail in the show. It would have worked so well with the themes of Razer's storyline. Because technically, the ring can be removed and the person can live: either they receive immediate medical attention for cardiac arrest, OR a Blue Lantern can restart their heart. And considering that a blue ring followed him, it would have been _so cool_ if we got to see him save his own life.

It also replaces their blood with acidic blood so that they can spew it up as an attack, if the ring is removed the blood boils them from the inside

the scene in number 2 is more emotional when you realise that the dagger razer create is the same dagger he used when he was a solder in his world and he was carring its when he descover his wife was dead

Even more when he has hope that somewhere somehow she has survived and he will find her, and then you see a blue lantern ring begin to follow him, signifying that he has finally become hopeful and let go of his hate enough to be a blue lantern.

@@jesserenfro9180 i woudl say that 1 is worst beacuse in that moment the feelings that razer has for aya are stronger than what razer feel for his dead wife because in previous episode he overcome that the blue rings unabilitated his red power. loosing his wife was enough to razer became a red lanter, but aya getting hurt is enough for razer's angry overcome the blue ring effect

Nah I'm talking about the very end of the show, aya was gone but razer still had hope, his rage was useless against her, despite his anger still being there, it's obvious his hope rises towards the end and the rage is being to fall.

Didn't anyone notice that when Aya came back and was healing Razer's body ,when she talked her tone was more of a livingbeing-tone and not a robot-like tone . I don't know but her tone was different than normal which showed how much alive she is and when she cried too. OMG I miss them so much 😭💔 why didn't they continue this show , stupid toys' selling. 😩

It’s truly tragic that every second Razer gets close to finally being with Aya, she is ripped away from him, only the final time she is taken away, Razer does not give up, instead he has Hope that he will find her. What an amazing show, I wish it had gotten more seasons, but even then I’m grateful we got it in the first place.

Just saw Young Justice S04E19 RAZOR IS NOW A RED AND BLUE LANTERN They are in the same universe apparently It has been 4 years for Razor in trying to find Aya But for us it has been 11 FREAKING YEARS 😭

Officially, Young Justice is “canon adjacent” to GLTAS, meaning a version of those events happened in YJ but any inconsistencies can be explained away as slight variations between continuities. Basically, GLTAS happened in the YJ-verse and don’t worry about any plot holes.

That exchange. 10:28. I am _convinced_ it was meant to be a setup for when Razer finally found Aya. Aya would be the one to say "you came back for me" and Razer would say "always." But we never got season two, so we'll never see that.

You have got to give Jason Spisak (Razer's voice actor) massive props for this role. His other roles (Kid Flash in Young Justice, Bartz Klauser in Dissida, and Kiyo from Zatch Bell) are very different in personality from Razer, but it's hard to imagine anyone else voicing Razer. It's hard to convey both an edge and a warmth at the same time.

I agree! I watched Young Justice previously to getting into GLTAS and on my initial viewing of the first episode, I didn't recognise Spisak's voice becos his Wally voice is ENTIRELY different from Razer's, to which I give him props because he is able to voice both characters so so well!

After watching young justice and seeing Razer in one of the episodes, I decided to watch the Green Lanterns animated series for the first time. And to say I loved it is an understatement, I love these two soo much and I wish there were more seasons with them; but now all o can do is wait and hope to see what’s in store for them!

I always wondered why Razor rejected Aya when she came back in a manhunter’s body. I realize now that it was because he went through the traumatic experience of watching a loved one die a second time. It must’ve hurt him so badly that he decided to shut down all emotions like Aya did. He made the same mistake she did to avoid feeling pain, and it ended up hurting other people instead. In Razer’s case, he hurt Aya.😥

I love this show it's extremely underrated! I'll admit that the animation took a little time to get used to but I ended up loving the animation and the characters were so good! It's a great action show as well and I loved learning about all the different kinds of lantern core's. I wished we could have learned more about them in later seasons because it only had one. I love Razor and Aya's relationship! This has become my new favorite video on youtube. This show is on my top 10 favorite animated tv shows!

Aya specifically isn’t in that, since The Ai is just part of the space cabby, because I doubt Aya would want to be anywhere away from Razor, unless a new Aya program was invented, and doesn’t have the same parameters as the one we are familiar with. The one that would undoubtedly be with Razor, and not in a space cab.

This show should have gotten a second season and that's coming from someone who hates Hal and prefers John as the GL of Earth. By the end of the show I didn't care what was going on with the main story I just wanted to see how this relationship evolved.

In this show he tried to become a full blown Blue Lantern. That’s why he was on the Blue Lantern’s home world and that’s why they were so shocked that he could use his ring. Because red rings don’t work around blue rings and he had been training with a Blue ring the whole time.

Very sad, heart broken, depressing.15:30 and mad because the show got cancelled, do to how poorly the green lantern movie was and the poor toy sales because of it.

I just remembered something... seeing the finale and learning about the scene in Justice League Action... Aya was made to be an artificial intelligence, but Scar had to take a living sample from the entity that was inside the Green Master Battery in order to make the artificial intelligence. The virus could only target the mechanical part of her, that's why she reappeared in Justice League Action without her memory! She had to have pulled the rest of herself together after every version of the "program" was deleted. It's just like what happened to Penny in RWBY when she was removed from her mechanical parts! Only with the drawback of not having a physical form.

Maaaan, I remember watching the clip from episode 20 when Aya reassembles herself in front of Razer and it hits him that she's a machine. I was holding my breath through the entire scene. I was DEVASTATED when he told her he didn't love her.

I hear you man. Im also quite the romantic Type and I swear the next studio making me cry a river because of this damn "true love between them but the girl has to die at/shortly before/shortly after their happiest Moment for dramatic reasons(and to break the happy end,and teenie hearts, which has become quite common, F!!! you suckers cant we just have a romance with a Wedding and a happy ever after again?) Will go down in a way which would even make the joker AND batman getting pale at the Same time. Examples? Gurren lagan, samurai jack and now this.

The guy is yet another case of an extremely well written DC character originating from a TV show rather than the comics. And considering his position at the end of that YJ episode it just makes him more unique. I mean the dude is wielding a blue _and_ red ring at the _same_ time! When blue rings are like the anti-red rings! But now after watching this compilation you can understand how Razer can use both of the simultaneously, since he's managed to harness enough rage to use his red ring with _multiple_ Blue Lanterns in range!!
