Freddy Richards yeah they’re apparently really good friends and George Clooney has a very depreciating sense of humour. He was also on record with Matt Damon saying that if they weren’t featured in Team America they would have been offended

Even funnier considering Clooney is partly what helped popularize South Park by emailing "The Spirit of Christmas" to a bunch of his friends before the show got picked up. To think, he's partly why South Park exists today. 😂 easily his greatest contribution

Actually Cheech and Chong weren't speaking to each other during the episode. They had recorded their parts seperate. But recently, they made amends and are even touring again.

T. rexExpert01 I urge you to go back and give it another shot, because the episode really does have a great running gag in the continuous streams of vulgar insults that Estella hurls at Pip throughout, and it’s also some good inside humor pointing out how absurd the novel’s setup is for people who know it.

Pip was just a forgettable episode that wasted Malcolm McDowell, the perfect guest star for this series. Still, I wouldn’t call it one of the worst, there are some funny moments in it and mocks great expectations quite well but it’s probably the most forgettable episode of the entire series.

Chef's voice actor; Isaac Hayes may not be a guest star but one of the voice actor. But he still is one of the best characters/voice actors of southpark. R.I.P Isaac Hayes 2008-2019. It made me feel sad when he died in real life and so chef had to be gone :(. Anyone agree? Fact: Did you know that Isaac Hayes also starred in a childhood tv serie? the A-team. In the 1985's episode The Heart of Rock N' Roll.

Isaac Hayes and the creators actually had a falling out due to their differences in their beliefs of Scientology, which is why Chef was killed off in the show. He died a few years later. I also miss Chef, though. :(

Parker and Stone trolled the viewers a few times and apparently decided not to ever do that again. They were on a documentary talking about the level of backlash they got from the fans over a joke they didn't mean to cause so much flame. I believe the George Clooney appearance was the first of these. I remember, for weeks ahead of that episode, they started promoting the 'coming soon' episode guest starring George Clooney. They started putting a logo next to the South Park Title for that episode that said "Special Guest Star George Clooney!", flashing on the screen. Then the episode came and seemingly no George Clooney. Parker, in the documentary, said they pitched the idea to Clooney, and he got what they were doing and loved it and wanted to do it, so they started liking him after that. The other time I can remember that they burned the viewers was with revealing Cartman's father. Built that up for weeks, skipped a week, then the week the episode was supposed to air, the episode was just 30 minutes of Terrance and Phillip. Was an April Fools day episode.

I was at a Q&A with Michael Dorn last month and I asked him what he thought of his South Park piss take knowing it wasn’t him playing the role and unbelievably he said he loves South Park and loved how they portrayed him as Worf but was gutted when he was watching it on TV and they didn’t ask him to voice himself because he would have said yes 😂
