I really like Jamie Reyes' Blue Beetle design.

Animal man's jacket is not leather it's denim. He would never wear leather because he's the environmentalist superhero.

The old Batgirl outfit was 10x better, the new one looks like some teenage bs and the comics were a lot less interesting after the rework as well, so much so that iv'e stopped buying Batgirl all together.

The new batgirl look is pure crap, she looks less like a superhero and more like a hipster cosplaying as a comic character. As well hearing the reason he made her like that, so cosplayers would be able to make her costume easier, just made it more crap

I would have added Azreal Knightfall Batman's costume, Robin's costume, Nightwing's costume, Superboy's costume, and Green Lantern's costume redesign - from Alan Scott's weird multicolored costume to Hal Jordan's almost all green costume.

Courtney Whitmore and Jaime Reyes are far better then there predecessors.

I liked Aqualad's redesign the best. They made him look cool and tough and so glad DC decided to diverisfy him by making him Black. He's one of the few heroes I wanted to see in the new 52.

Now the Green Arrow thing kind made me lauf . Its not that long ago that I read Kevin Smiths run on the Comic . And there is a scene where Batman comments on the arrow Cave , car and plane etc with the words : Didnt you have any original ideas . But now a days I am Reading some older green arrow . I am Reading the old Mike Grell stuff ( the time Oliver lived in Seattle) . Last issue I read was issue 12 ( involving Shado) . I like it so far 😊.

I agree with your Top 10 DC Redesign List, but Gil Kane's The Atom reboot deserves an honorable mention, as does Greg Rucka's The Question reconfiguration. Still, the constant reinvention James Robinson brought to the Golden Age characters in his Starman title; which materially led to the relaunch of the entire Justice Society of America; remains to the Multiverse what Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was to Neil Gaiman's The Sandman: absolutely essential!

Honestly i like each and every originall concept of the classic looks i like the originall blue beetle and the originall aquaman more then the whole cave man look, but i will say out of all the costume updates superman today on the comic books especially in the movies, mabey its the fact that i enjoyed the memorys of superman in the 70To late 80 especiall the super powers version of it and when chrisyopher reeves played it to me those where the good old times,and supermans look in the new man of steel movie iam not to crazy of the fusion dark red the dimed down gothic blue rather then the collorfull baby blue , and the combination of the blue red and yellow now its different who still loves the super power era.

Starman deserves some more attention, especially the Thom Kallor version

As someone who has been a fan of Batgirl since her creation in the 1960s, and who has enjoyed all of her exploits, I really disliked the reboot this past year that made her a "cartoon"teenage figure like an Archie character. It was just an awful decision. Gail Simone worked hard to create a dynamic figure with a supporting cast, including her deranged brother, her previous paralysis from the Joker, tension between her and her dad, challenges with her boyfriend, a great roommate character - and now, all of that is gone for an Archie-girl. I dropped the book when the transition happened. Bring back the intelligent Batgirl, please. You can always create another young, female bat character (like Bluebird) and make them "cartoony." - To change Batgirl from an intelligent adult to a ditzy teenager in the middle of "Batman Eternal" was another thing that didn't make sense. Bring back the intelligent Barbara Gordon please.

If it's any other character whether you know their jacket is leather or not matters little, but for Animal Man, it's very important (That's his schtick...him being an advocate of animal rights and all)... How can the writers of this thing not know that?

Some redesigns are for the best, but on the other hand some are timeless. I may be beating a dead horse but that's another problem with the New 52, besides Jason Todd just about every redesign is inferior to the pre-New 52 designs. The problem was a lot of them are over stylized unnecessarily and for some reason have an armor look going on why!? Is that for practicality? Who cares it's a comic book where people run through time and can blow away galaxies with a sneeze it doesn't always have to believable just make it enjoyable. Even the really good designs still aren't on par with the originals. I guess this is the next step but I'm still gonna miss classics, especially Superman & Green Arrow. Keep in mind this is just my opinion if you don't agree that's fine we all think differently.

I liked Alfred pennyworths redesign.

I don't know I still like Starman (Will Payton) the best. Probably because he was the first character's title I got all the way from the start to the unfortunate ending. I also will always like Ted Kord best. No slight to the new kid, he's good too, but Ted was the Blue Beetle I knew and will always love the most.
