Football is not about being rich is about skill I seen weak teams with a strong manager win games and I seen a weak manager with the right players in the pitch I'll give you two examples pep guardiola and barca 2009 and mourinho inter 2008

Barca is probably the richer club in the world. They are owned by more than 100.000 members (if you add upp their fortunes they would be richer than anyone else) but the thing is how much money the club itself produces.

The owner maybe rich but not the club . It depends on how much they invest on the players and facilities. Tottenhotspur owners worth 10Billions pounds and their facilities are so new. You only mentioned the clubs you like but not the facts.

@@pangihutannababan8730 kevin a has a point . i am a newcastle fan so have no loyalty to tottenham . it doesnt matter how much your owner is worth , what matteres is how much of that wealth is invested . my clubs owners are estimated to be worth 700 billion . but we are not throwing that money around buying players . in the past you have british clubs like chelsea who bought the league . and city now . i respect clubs like liverpool who sell to buy .

@@toptrend9164, I insist: RM has around 100.000 owners. If you add up their fortunes (having into account that just two of them, the president and the vice-prsident, have over 5B $) probably it would make one of the highest spots of this list. But the important thing is not how rich are the owners but the club itself, how much money it produces and its overall value. If you go to Forbes or Fortune you'll see that Real Madrid, Man Utd. and Barcelona are the richest clubs, being first, second and third depending on the year.

If your wondering why Newcastle is #1 then come to this comment. Basically Newcastle does not spend millions of dollars on players like Neymar, Messi, and Kane and save up millions and if not billions of dollars to in the future get some better players and hopefully win a new title like the Premier League, champions league, and FA cup. Hopefully that gave you an idea why this club is at #1.
