soooooo tired of people constantly tossing "underrated " around. Nobody underrates STP . They're acknowledged as one of the biggest /most influential bands of the 90's

@@joshuamartins9487 underrated by all those such as David Fricke etc who labelled them a second grade pearl jam, admittedly he has went back on this opinion. However for many “critics” of the 90s they followed an agenda that criticised STP. So yes, for that time they were heavily underrated. Not necessarily by the fans but by the critics who labelled them the worst album of the year while core was, simultaneously, voted best by the fans.

Wow. I was singing along to all of those. Where do the lyrics go for so long and then all of a sudden you hear the riffs again and they're back. Them Bones was especially... Chilling, or something. Absolutely superb sound and playing, thank you.

Great video my two favorite 90's bands for sure STP and AIC!! Played in a 90's cover band we did mostly STP and AIC stuff we were gonna call r band Pilots In Chains but never did lol!!

I love 90s grunge/rock bands. But when i got into STP, i thought they were criminally underrated when compared to the likes of PJ, SG, and AIC. Their musicality is (in my humble opinion) unmatched during that era, specially the Purple album. The Deleo brothers have great musical tastes and Scott was just so amazing live. A true rock frontman.

Damn this makes me feel old. I was a senior in high school when these albums were released and I remember playing the hell out of both discs. I'm honestly surprised both of those cd's play today because I played them enough for the laser to burn a hole through both. Still remember seeing STP live on that tour in St. Paul. The place was NUTS. People down in the front picking up entire rows of chairs (they were all connected) and smashing them down. Weiland was a total, utter and complete rock star on stage. The other guy that caught my attention was Rob DeLeo on bass. Who is this crazy cool guy with slicked back hair and aviators on who is just killing it on bass? What a year for music that was.

I remember seeing Would! On Raw Power (I had to stay up until midnight as I didn't have a video) for the first time. Laynes vocal was special then and more so now. Great riffs, superb album's, unforgettable singers! Thanks

oh boy....my reminder of my aging for the day. i had a cassette as a kid with dirt on one side and nevermind on the other. can't remember what shared a tape with core :)

Two fantastic grunge era albums. Dirt especially is surprising because it has so much depth to it. Despite the stereotypical grunge style being so prevalent at the time, there are a lot of softer soulful songs on Dirt.

As a 19 year old I envy kids who got to experience the 90s as grunge came to be. STP, AIC, Nirvana, Soundgarden, even Hole. What a time. Now the pulse of rock is barely beating with Greta Van Fleet or older bands still releasing Albums from time to time in an attempt to recapture the past.

You should do a top 10 riffs of Rage Against The Machine's debut album. Or just do all ten songs seeing as there are only ten songs on that album. November 3rd will be the 30th anniversary of that album. It came out on November 3, 1992.

some Drop D and AIC is always down 1/2 step :-) No where near as bad as Soundgarden for tuning changes haha
