I'm 100% bias and love LILIAC so to pick my top band out of this group is a no-brainer, LILIAC takes it. With that said it's not fair to the other 9 bands to add LILIAC here.... LILIAC ranks up their with the top bands of the 70's & 80's. Have been a "Fang" for many years I saw them live at the whiskey a go go, Hollywood Ca back in February of 2022 and have my tickets to see their Madness tour June of 2023. I'm sure they are going to be as awesome and probably better than the first time I saw them.

The guy who stated the Lilacs performance sucked and Dio would be rolling over, guess again! Dio’s wife gave Melody(singer) a lot of Dio memorabilia, also the drummer from Dio played with Melody as well!

I stumbled on Lilac's cover shortly after it's official release, doubtful I listened to it and became an instant fan of The First Family Of Rock, I was so blown away that I had tears in my eyes. Lilac carries The Spirit of Rock, and that was evident in less than a half a minute into the song. There's a healing of the spirit that is Innate, a force that keeps people going against all odds, it cultivates Free Will, Self Determination, a true Spirit of Liberty that touches the heart of the soul wherever it is taken, a spirit that tells you that you are innately Noble within yourself as all are; the center that is everywhere. If one feels it it tells us there's no future and no past, only here and now, calling one to stand even if they stand alone, that it's a good thing to be as the last Spartan at the Battle of Thermopylae, because it's important, even if we don't comprehend why. There's a Stoic understanding in the Spirit of Rock that tells us that we don't have to be a diamond because to be a lump of coal is as Noble, and all we need, for the diamond shines no light but refracts it to produce the rainbow; but the coal set alight burns both hot and bright and each of us is a lump of coal, without us the diamond has no purpose. To set fire to the individual spirit is to bring light to the Rainbow In The Dark, to live in Tesseract within the scheme of things, the center that is everywhere. As T.S. Elliott wrote "if it weren't for the point, The still point, there would be no dance; and there is only the dance." The Angel, The God of Rock is Liberty and her mother is Sophia, Wisdom. It causes us to tell the churchgoer that we don't need to seek the kingdom of God, because it's already here; that God they search for outside themselves isn't found in steeples and scriptures but within the self, because in truth we are all a part of this God they speak of, everything is sacred. We need no church because our scriptures are found in the music, which calls us to question everything, including ourselves. Sometimes the love of the music is all we need. From AC/DC to Zeppelin these things are commonly known in tacit. ✌🏽

As he gets older and the voice deepens then it may be different. But there are bands like bad omens that have a lead singer that sounds like angels but can go hard if they want to

The third band putting the violin into their act. Don't always hear violin in hard rock style music. Sounds great though. Then they seem to have a Linkin Park breakdown type segment at end of song.

First band, Chapter 13, killed it! Seeing further videos of them.... 1:10 Outstanding!!! They're the only band that can take Motown hits and electrify them with a pure energy of dynamic proportions! And who doesn't like the Motown classics.

Lilac was cool. I'm not a dio fan but they manged to make his only song sound good. I would like All the fools sailed away would have been a better choice. I think it was his only good song. But I have heard them play lots of other good stuff though. Good band.

12:32 the band is called Segment not Liliac. Segment broke up and two guys of the band continued to play in a band called Lili Vilit.
