Same, every duel with Akisa was so so good, like the way she could play with cards and her deck really played really well and it was funny because she didn’t play directly with brute force (except for black rose dragon destruction effect that for 10yo me was like a very big deal)

Iirc her voice actress got pregnant so her role in the anime was reduced

yeah same they are both sooooo cool archetypes, i would love to see more different support for all the archetypes outside of Black Magician, White Dragon and Cyber Dragon

I've been recommending top 10 EARTH Machines for a while since the type-attribute pairing can make a cohesive deck in a plethora of different ways.

I fully agree with this. I know it's not a popular archetype and not the strongest, but the Machina archetype is one that works well with any earth machine monster, especially one of its boss monsters, Machina Citadel.

While I'll agree on your second point I think it's 100% fair to call BRDs second effect irrelevant. The fact is it has a terrible effect at too high a cost and is basically never more useful than something else. For 2400 damage you need to synchro BRD, ideally with a plant type, forgo using its first effect, somehow get your opponents monster into defense position, then banish your resources (resources that only some decks that can run BRD will have at that) from the graveyard and hope none of that gets interrupted. It's certainly not the clunkiest way to get 2400 damage on your opponent but its definitely close and again requires you to not use the good effect of BRD in order to actually pull off.

Book of moon with BRD.. huh. I'll be trying that in Duel links, which is all the more potent with 4k LP -- once they finally decide to release a non-paywalled version of Book of moon, that is..

@@Dink_Smallwood every time they release the mini box collections with stuff like book of moon, they only let you have a certain number of packs with f2p gems. after that limit is used up, you have to pay konami real money to pull more packs. to this day, i have never seen book of moon in any of my f2p gem packs.

Also you can make a deck that has both in them easier than expected. Just focus on one of the three arcs for Stardust (Stardust, Junk, Warrior) and some pieces for Black Rose. Have it focus more on Synchro summons and you have a nuke/protection deck.

While it is a casual deck, I have beaten Drytrons with it before, and have stood up well against most rogue decks. You can adjust the amounts as you see fit, but I say keep Petal and Snowdrop at 3, as they are your most important main deck monsters. (P.S.: I'm a budget player, so staple cards are a little scant, and I play with what I can afford and what i pull from packs). (P.S.S.: sometimes you might brick, because of the archetype's reliance on high level monsters, but 2 of the high level Rikkas summon themselves from the hand with a tribute (1 even summons an extra monster to join her), and the other 2 from the GY with the same. Even if you open with a brick, usually the second turn will get you something to start with from my experience with playing, building, and testing the deck.) @@annedrieck7316 she is pretty useful, and I do like her outfit. I mean, I can understand their reasoning, but the way I see it, 2 is the best number for most of them, as it gives a variety to choose from to allow you to adapt to any situation. Teardrop (the rank 8) is also my favorite! Second for me though, is Snowdrop. And Petal is so adorable!

Well to be fair, Yusei and Jack's decks get regular support and no other archetype in history gets more support than Crow's Blackfeathers. It's a shame Rua's deck is too gimmicky while Ruka herself doesn't exactly use and archetype that could be supported. Either way it'd about time Aki was shown some love

@@mihneazoican2479 That's a more convoluted list, as there's multiple ways to cheat out fusion monsters and why they'd be cheated out. Waking The Dragon, Fists of the Unrivaled Tenyi, Instant Fusion and Cyber Stein are all cards that can cheat out a Fusion Monster. That's just off the top of my head and LOTS of fusion monsters will be brought out for a variety of reasons.

@@azuredragoon2054 ah of course, but I don’t think it’s as complicated as you make it out to be. You don’t have to care about all the methods, just which monsters are cheated out (as there’s usually only one method per monster anyway)

@@mihneazoican2479 The list would basically be "10 best targets for Instant Fusion", because that's THE go-to for cheating out a lot of Fusion monsters. And a lot of them are banned because of Instant Fusion.

Unless there's a movie for Duel Links, I just can't see it. I would LOVE it of course (in theory; NOT if we went the Arc-V route, obviously), but the odds of seeing anyone from a past spin-off in any material going forward are just too low to be plausible, sadly (not from the original; DM will be mined forever).
