One of my personal favourites is the prophet of truth in Halo 3. Such a dramatic cutscene ending with the Arbiter putting an energy sword through the prophet

I actually understood why Edgar Ross did everything he did until he came to John’s farm and shot him down. Before then, there was a violent gang that had to be stopped and only John Marston could do it and he owed it to the world to do it because he used to be in it.

Andrew Ryan in Bioshock. Up until the confrontation with him, he's had a gathering list of reasons for his death. 1: Murdering Atlas' family, 2: Having insane, drugged up psychos hunt you down and 3: His horrifyingly brutal and violent nature when it came to those he disliked and mistrusted. Clubbing his skull in with that 9-iron felt good but the twist at that point makes it satisfying that you got vengeance for trying to kill you but also in shock at the revealed twist.

The Most Satisfying Death of Villain Is Makarov From CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 3

Final boss of Bioshock 1, and (instead of Zues) I think one of the other bosses in GoW deserved a spot. Can't remember his name, but he had a shield that would blind you, he was invisible, and when you finally killed him you got to slam his head in a door about 30 times. I've never laughed so hard at something so brutal.

Killing Imlerith made me cry out of happines and because of how brutal and satysfying it was. Most satysfying kill imo

I'm not sure why David is on this list. Mainly because of two reasons: 1. He's not the villain. He's just another survivor that Ellie by chance comes across while hunting a deer. He makes things difficult for Ellie, sure. But that's because she and Joel killed a lot of his dudes, and Ellie turns down his proposal to join his group. David doesn't have any world domination plans, nor is he chasing Joel and Ellie from the start, because he wants to steal their gold or something. Yes, David is a leader of a group that eats humans. But to survive "by any means necessary", just like Joel and Ellie. Only difference: Joel and Ellie don't eat humans, but they sure kill a lot of dudes to survive. 2. Killing David isn't at all satisfying. Well, that's not how I experienced it. He's finally dead and won't bother Ellie anymore. But was she satisfied? Hardly. She just had the most traumatic horrible experience ever, that she will not recover from for a long time. And I felt for her. I actually nearly cried after she finally killed David. She's just a fictional character, but I felt for her. I felt this sadness come over me whenever I thought of Ellie and her struggle with David. She's a thought up person, but isn't it great though, that I was able to feel something. Even after I turned off the game. Not many games pull this off. Not like TLOU in my opinion. Too long, didn't read? 1. David = No villain 2. David's face being murdered = Not satisfying

Anybody wonder why RTS games are not really on video game top x lists anymore? It's because there's so many stupid people playing games right now. All people want is instant gratification and to improve their skills. What I mean by skills is mouse aim, reflexes and the whatnot. So, from a gaming standpoint, they are stupid. You see, when something requires thought, strategy and being knowledgeable, it turns many people off. Ever wonder why the Battlefield series got simplified and dumbed down, but exploded in popularity? Or how Call of Duty has been selling so many recycled titles for so long? And the RTS genre is basically dead as well. The word streamlined doesn't mean streamlined. It means simplified. They take features out that may have purpose and meaning in the game, but are concepts that require thoughts and actual thinking. TL;DR? You might want to. I might have just called you stupid. Come on, rage at me. That or realise that thing in your head can be more entertaining than that bowl of weed that's sitting next to you.
