It's far too early to start calling out which cards will be the top investments BUT there are some early indicators!! Even though it's still really early thinking about what the Top 10 Scarlet & Violet Singles So Far is incredibly relevant for us to be aware of! What's even more exciting is that as more and more sets come out we can continually tweak this list and we can start to notice trends and patterns which can give us a leg up in the investing and collecting world!! I enjoyed this video and I love all of the cards you have shown. I have been chasing the Raichu for a bit. I get 99% of my cards from WhatNot (only trusted sellers) I usually don’t buy packs anymore, except for a few here and there to get the feel of opening. I do however live to get a few sealed products for the future and either keep or sell if it’s worth it. I’m really upset that I opened my Evolving skies and cosmic eclipse boxes that I’m trying to find the next set like that to sky rockets. So I pay very close attention to your channel and a 3 others (that’s it! I trust y’all very much) please keep doing these videos I enjoy them so much and I enjoy seeing your prospective. I love the stock market too, and the Pokémon ‘stock market’ makes more sense to me. ❤️😅

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I sometimes think that the “reprint” is more of a restock BUT comparing how the Gem Rates move post reprint will be really really cool!! Awesome call out!!

Greetings from Germany. Love your channel - good job! I like the magikarp as well, but it seems that the excitement is not shared. I can buy a German one for 60€/65Dollar easily. Never have seen such a huge gap between the languages so far.

That’s so crazy!! First off I love interacting with people from all over the world so thank you so much for the comment. Secondly that price gap is really really crazy… something to watch for sure. I hear about how the UK Pokemon center still have BBS like Fusion Strike and such in stock. It’s so interesting to me how different markets react to the same products. man i feel everyone is just watching pokemon 151 with a keen eye just waiting for the reprint. will be interesting to see what happens to prices in a couple years once it feels pretty certain that we're out of reprint window for it. I just wish SV had 1 more banger set on the level of paldea evolved or higher so so much attention wouldn't be solely on 151 aha

I agree 100% it’s like a bunch of Pokémon tigers in the Sahara of reprints just waiting for 151 to come out and everyone will pounce 😂😂. I think we might have a few solid sets lined up early next year. These new trademarks look promising!!

Hey brother I love the content just recently got into the hobby over the last few months. I was lucky enough to pull the gold Giratina and Arceus from Crown Zenith. Then at a recent card show I picked up the Dialga and Palkia. Now my question is. Do I hold the gold cards or do I try and trade/sell them and get the Alt art Gengar VMax which I absolutely love!

I think liquidating your collection is smart. Rather 3 big cards than 30 small ones. So if u go to a card show and trade 3 or 4 and maybe cash for the gengar. I probably would unless you thought you had a better short term investment in your hands

First off congrats on the awesome pulls!! That’s amazing!! I kinda think you answered your own question when at the end you said you absolutely LOVE the Giratina Alt Art (as do I BTW). That Giratina card will end up being one of the tops for the whole SW&SH era so trading a few cards for one you love and will be a cornerstone of one of the best eras in recent memory sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me!!

Greninja is the card to watch. If TM has a low print run and not many boxes get open it could get very expensive.

greninja is expensive. i actually traded some dupe cards that are good for the tcg and got the jpn one for free. figured it could spike if the english version is too much and sure enough i just saw two sell on tcg for 160. literally thinking of putting mine up for sale. the pull rate on the set is really difficult so im torn.

It’s so hard to make the call this early on!! Typically now is the time to sell as you can usually buy back at a lower point later but the way this market has been who knows!! Awesome card my friend!!

Don’t really understand why investors don’t like this set. It’s objectively the best base set imo, and it’s not even close. In fact, I would wager that the first 4 main sets of the SV era, especially when you include 151 and Paldean Fates, represent the best first year out of any of the generations. My prediction is that early SV will be regarded as extremely good a few years down the road

I’m the wrong person to ask because I have a very strong English lean. I think the fact that the print quality on the Japanese cards are so high resulting in crazy high Gem Rates really hurts the ability for them to grow long term. However if you want some amazing cards that are absolutely STUNNING it’s hard to go wrong with Japanese cards!!

I like the list but I think that the Paldean Fates Charizard will start to fall off in the future. I feel Bubble Mew has a stronger staying power. It’s an amazing card with great artwork.

I agree with that since the Gem Rate is sooo high I could see the single dropping down quite a bit. That Mew in CZ sure is taking off so I wouldn’t be surprised if Bubble Mew floats up to it’s own level of awesomeness!!

The Tyrannitar I pulled breaks my heart. It's beautiful, centered, has four sharp corners, and no white edges except for the back top edge. It has a bad cut, so it's one solid line of white.... 🤦

@@ldeo6918 Yes. But it's not a "miscut." It's a bad cut. Like cutting something with dull scissors. The white is because the edge was cut at a very slight angle. 🤷 A miscut would have been nice though.... 👍

I like the gold Zard and Pikachu a lot more then the Mew to be honest. Both the metal and regular ones from the celebrations UPC are hard to grade and in relatively low supply compared to others in the SW&SH block. They need some time to let the Alt Art craze die down but I’m a fan of them long term!!
