if you're gonna leave Cher only as an honourable mention, then Barbra Streisand should be mentioned too. i know we all know she's a brilliant actress, but given the description "people who are generally better known as singers" Babs tips slightly more towards singer. and she is an EGOT recipient.

Some singers this list forgot: Queen Latifah (Chicago enough said) Janet Jackson (from Poetic Justice to Why Did I Get Married) Mandy Moore (she's a Disney princess) Tyrese (yes he's been acting more lately but he did have a singing career) Brandy (how do you mention Whitney but not Brandy) Ice Cube (again same thing as Tyrese) Justin Timberlake (look towards Tyrese yet again) Patrick Stump (very impressive voice acting work) Michael Jackson (though his work in Men in Black II wasn't the best, The Wiz and his Simpsons cameo were top notch) Andre 3000 (Idlewild or Class of 3000)

Yes all of these. They did mention the Brandy Cinderella but you’re right they didn’t personally mention Brandy. With Mandy I sometimes forget about her singing career with just HOW good an actress she is.

Not to mention how she behaved with Liza Minnelli at the Oscar’s. That to me should have been the talk of the Oscars. She was so kind, sweet and respectful when poor Liza got a little confused. The way she stepped back for the audience to applaud her, Lady holding the clearly nervous hand of Liza, helping her and telling her “I gotcha”. A true class act with a heart of gold

In "A Star is Born" it didn't feel like Lady Gaga was playing a character so much as Stephanie Germanotta (her real name) playing herself. I believe that's why it worked so well.

I disagree with this list. I mean, Sure. Lay Gaga is quite the singer/actress, But where's Harry Belafonte, Bette Milder, Will Smith, Barbra Streissand and Tim McGraw. Also, Frank Sinatra and Cher deserve to be on the list.

Lady Gaga was magnificent as The Countess in AHS: Hotel. I have rewatched that season so many times and each time, she's still amazing. Love her so much.

I had stopped watching AHS long before that season came out and thought Gaga was a stunt casting and was annoyed when she was nominated for Emmys. My sister was like, “No, you don’t get it, she’s actually so good!” Then A Star is Born came out and she blew me away.

Did you guys really forget Streisand? She has sold more albums than most anybody on this list and has two Oscars. Did you also forget Bette Midler, Lena Horn, Dean Martin, Olivia Newton John and Bjork? Make the lists longer or retitle them with time limits or ethnic identification. What about Donald Glover!?! Community (Troy), Atlanta (Earn), Solo: A Star Wars Story (Lando), The Lion King (Adult Simba) (which you mentioned for Beyoncé), Guava Island (which has Rihanna in it too), The Martian (young hero of the movie who works in astrodynamics and figures out the Math to bring Matt Damon home), his cameo in Spider-Man: Homecoming, etc. Or, does he not count because Donald Glover is the actor and Childish Gambino is the rapper. 😁

515: 10 -I freaked when Harry Styles came out playing a cameo in Eternals 9 -Love her scene in Valerian 8 -I’ve seen 9 to 5 and Joyful Noise 7 -Love her! I love The Bodyguard and Cinderella as the Fairy Godmother 5 -I only heard his song in the end credits of The Princess and the Frog 4 -I’m a fan. DreamGirls, The Pink Panther, Epic (small role) and 2019’s The Lion King 2 -I like her. Heard her voice in UglyDolls. Love the song Unbreakable 1 -Pretty obvious that would be number one. Lady Gaga is awesome. When I saw A Star is Born, I was blown away

I'd say out of all of these singers who were in movies or shows that Beyonce she should be 9 or 10 was the weakest, 4 is way too high. She isn't that great an actress tbh and she's singing in most of her roles not acting. All her scenes felt the same angry and predictable in obsessed. Also, where's Frank Sinatra or Ice-T? These guys have been in tons of movies and hit shows? 😕

I am surprised that Zendaya isn't in here she played so many characters from Disney channel shows and movies and marvel movies like the Spiderman movies she did an amazing job play MJ in those films I hope she will continuing acting and singing

harry styles is amazing. i know he'll be phenomenal in Don't Worry Darling and My Policeman, and he was great in Dunkirk and his one scene in Eternals lol. people tend to write him off before even giving him a chance because he was in a boyband, or because he's so famous in the music world, but he really is a great actor. except for the icarly episode, we don't talk about the icarly episode...iykyk (jk it's actually a pretty good episode)

Jennifer Hudson is missing from this list. I am also surprised Jennifer Lopez is also missing I'd probably place at 10 or at least honorable mentions. Even Will Smith is missing. You'll need to do a part 2 for this or top 20

Ne-Yo?! Are y’all for real? As much as I LOVE Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson actually won the Oscar for dream girl. Cher as honorable mention? Is it crack?! Where is method man? Where is Mary J. Blige? (She got an Oscar nod for crying out loud). Ice Cube? Ice T? Mariah Carey?! This list sucks.

I forgot former American Idol alums turn actresses like Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson, runner-up Katherine McPhee and winner Jordan Sparks. These 2 not only acted on the big screen, but McPhee played Karen Cartwright in Smash for 2 seasons, these 3 AI alums have starred on Broadway.
