There is also a model of the Republic era mandator in the star wars empire at war game mod fall of the Republic. It has much rounder lines, like its design looks like it had a Mon calamari influence.

Speaking of bizarre: have a good look at the Tie fighter. A tiny round body that can barely house the pilot, guns and engine. To the sides two solar panels that cannot possibly generate any power to speak of which totally block the view to the left and right.

Some interesting "kitbash" designs (some more successful than others) but I really like the UGLY because it fully embraces that concept - and comes out looking not too bad!

My immediate thoughts are - your accent is excellent, bro. I was hoping you’d include the Bulwark battlecruiser. It’s a New Republic capital ship that looks like a Dust Buster, lol.
