This Top 10 video is focused on the best (or worst!) sisters (or half-sisters) in a Supersoap of the 80s, including this time "Dallas", "Knots Landing", "Dynasty", "Falcon Crest" and "The Colbys". If you know more or disagree, please comment and like the video if you like.

I'm surprised Olivia/Tonya Crowe didn't make this list - too many sisters to choose from I guess!! Glad to see Diana on here - I know the character not liked by many but so vital to the whole Chip Roberts story line.

I guess that I didn´t see her as a "sister" because Brian was a very minor character. She has appeared a lot in my videos, though. Olivia rules!! Toni

Thank you for the video! I would have reversed the first two choices. Of course, Kristin was an interesting character (badly exploited in "Dallas" by the way), but she doesn't compare with the character of Abby in my opinion, who is by far the most interesting and complex character on the list. The character of Caress in "Dynasty" was also very badly exploited. The writers could have done so much better with it.

Kristin shot J.R. and as a result is one of the most memorable characters in the night time soaps as a result. Kristin was conniving, slept with his sister's husband and tried to frame her sister for shooting J.R. and was the first villainess Dallas had.

I loved Caress Morelle! I think in a way, she was loosely based on Joan's real life sister, Jackie Collins. Remember when she was about to write that tell-all book about Alexis? Kate O'Mara was a great actress. I just wished that she could've moved to L.A. and visit her cousin, Sable Colby. I would've LOVED to see Caress and Sable at each other's throats much like Alexis and Dominique.

I just noticed that Sable spoke with an English accent while her sister Francesca spoke with an American accent. They must have had different nationalities of friends growing up.

They did that with Mac and Robert on GH as well even though they are both suppose to be from Australia only one has the accent.

If I remember correctly, it was explained that Sable was raised in England and Frankie in the US after their parents divorced.

@@stogiedad1 At least they explained that they never explained why Mac has and American accent. I know it real life it is because the actor is not Australian.

@@nicoleackerman205 Originally when John J. York came on GH, he did try an Australian accent. After a year or two, especially after Tristan left the show, he dropped it

Em "Dallas", Afton foi me conquistando com o tempo, deixando para trás a má impressão de suas participações iniciais no seriado. O mesmo aconteceu com April, cuja morte lamentei imensamente! Ambas surgiram como mulheres frívolas e levianas, mas se transformaram em personagens queridas pelo público...
