@@RockNRollSurf I think an easy rule to apply is that as long as you're over 5 for a good chunk of the decade, then you can classify yourself as a kid of that decade. I don't consider myself an 80's kid even though I was born at the end of 1984. My primary school and beginning of secondary school years were the 90s

I'll never forget the 1992 mva's. The best hands down. Grunge was becoming HUGE, people were tiring if hair metal bands. Kurt Cobain and Axl Rose got into a big argument over Courtney's cheeky mouth. Red Hot Chili Peppers were nominated all night...so was En Vogue. Nirvana would be the new break out Group of the year. Arrested Development was rap album of the year for Tennessee. The performances were the best, the Black Crows, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana's performances sealed the death of Hair Metal bands. Oh and Dana Carvey was the host. To me that will always be the pivotal moment in the 90's. And one more thing, RHCP won the Viewer's Choice Award that night.
