This was my favourite movie duology as a kid. I rewatched it again recently, and couldn't believe how many jokes went over my head, especially "Too many beers."

Tina Shenk’s milk carton joke still cracks me up today! Even as a kid, I somehow knew that it was an insult, given Tom and Kate were parents of 12 hell bound and carefree kids.

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid! I vividly remember my mom cracking up at the vasectomy scene and I didn't get it at all. Like, what was funny about that?? Well, now I get it lol.

Actualy, the ORIGINAL Cheaper by the Dozen was made in 1950. It starred Spencer Tracy and Myrna Loy.

I DO NOT understand why they didn't add a 13th child & title the films "Baker's Dozen." Why use the title of a memoir written by two people who actually grew up in a family of 12 children? Cheaper by the Dozen is about their childhoods, and how their mother & father(father who died before they were all grown) raised them. It's a sweet funny testament to their parents. There's nothing wrong with these movies, I just think it's weird to use their title & obscure that true story.

This was one of my childhood movies. I would honestly take the 2003 movie over the 2022 movie on Disney Plus. I didn’t like the 2022 movie tbh.

Top ten moments from cheaper by the dozen that makes us mad 1. FEDEX 2. Decides to move without their kids consent 3. Putting Charlie on defense bc he's "Tom bakers boy" (cowpie Illinois? Really? These coach should be fired for their racism/stereotypical behavior. Even worse there are other people in the gym that might've heard this racism but they did nothing to report) 4. "What happened? Did mommy and daddy move back to the farm?" 5. MOOOOOO 6. stuffing corn cob in Charlie's locker 7. Charlie became a jerk 8. Grounds mark too when he didn't even do anything (he was only just there watching the fight when it was his brother and sisters are the one that's fighting) 9. Charlie and Tom baker's argument 10. BIG FAMILY STINKS!!

This movie should NEVER have been called "Cheaper By The Dozen". All that remains of the book is the title. The real family was the Galbraiths. Frank Galbraith was an engineer who pioneered "Time and Motion Studies"; Ergonomics now. He died on his to Europe to present a paper at an international symposium. When he died so unexpectedly, his wife, Lily, also an engineer, went in his place, and took over running the business. The sequel, both in the books and the original movies, was called "Belles On Their Toes". It behoves us to acknowledge that this movie, while being somewhat funny, is an insult to the real life family who lived it.
